Minho planted his hands firmly against the floor, fingers splayed wide, trying to push his upper body off the floor. His arms tensed with effort as he shifted his weight onto one elbow.

He let out a pained groan, so I pressed him down.

"Where does it hurt?" I inquired because he might have snapped something in his spine, and moving could have made it worse.

He sighed and rested his head against the floor.

"Hard to say. Back. Lungs. I don't know."

Han crouched on the opposite side of Minho.

"Can you stand up?" he asked.

"Yes, but Filina doesn't let me."

"I didn't let you because you clearly couldn't," I remarked.

Taking my words as permission to show that he could stand, Minho drew his elbows inward, mustering strength to lift his torso.

Han reached out, placing a supportive hand on Minho's back and shoulder.

Moving could have severed his injury. However, Minho couldn't really lay motionless on the floor until the police rescued us, so I joined in on helping him up.

We paused at every possible phase. The first step was getting him to a sitting position. Then, he managed to kneel on all fours. Only after a lengthy rest did he rise to his feet, leaning on Han for support.

Meanwhile, Bang Chan lectured Jungkook.

"We're the oldest here," he began sharply, "We're supposed to take care of them, not throw them around—especially when they're already injured!"

Jungkook's jaw tensed, and he averted his gaze, unable to meet Bang Chan's stern eyes.

"I didn't know," he mumbled.

Bang Chan leaped forward, tilting his ear.

"What? What did you say?!"

"That I didn't know about the spine injury."

Bang Chan's eyes widened in outrage.

"I told you—multiple times! I shouted it so loudly I nearly lost my voice!"

Jungkook stepped back, withdrawing from the situation.

"I'm sorry... I didn't hear—"

Bang Chan cut him short, taking a step forward.

"But you heard Minho ask you to let him win, didn't you? Did you ever stop to think why he said that?"

Jungkook spread his arms in frustration, overwhelmed by Bang Chan's relentless accusations and the weight of his own guilt.

"How was I supposed to know he was injured!? I thought it was a fucking bitch move! Why should I let him win?" he exclaimed.

Bang Chan pointed a finger at Jungkook.

"Don't talk about bitch moves when you're the one not considering other people! A fucking bitch move is throwing an injured man into a hard tile floor!"

Hongjoong came to mediate between the two but ended up scolding Jungkook, too.

"We are not saying that you should have let him win. But you can't throw anyone like that."

"Honestly, I think you should have let him win," Bang Chan added, narrowing his eyes.

He clearly hadn't heard Jungkook crying in his sleep last night. Otherwise, he would have understood him a little better.
