-aarons pov- from the beginning-

Ever since Isabella started, I knew something was just different with her. She has two phds, and three masters degrees, and went to Yale and Stanford. She gets along wonders with the team and speaks different languages, Italian, Spanish and Russian. But she can read and write more. She has always been super dependable. When I was struggling to get jack from school, she offered, and granted she had met jack a handful of times before, I trusted her.

After Hailey died, I was destroyed, and struggled a long time after. I mean I didn't trust anyone with Jack, I barely let him go over to his friends house for a year afterwards. But Isabella has my trust with Jack, because I know she wouldn't let anything happen to him. She offered to help me out with him, while Jessica was struggling with her divorce, or when she's sick or out of town. Jack loves Isabella and I have a feeling that feeling is mutual.

I'm not entirely sure when I knew I liked her, but it became real when David asked me about it one day, and I completely denied it, and I still do. My friendship with her means a lot to me, and I don't want to ruin that if she doesn't feel the same way.

But when that phone call happened with the girls and David, I knew things would get complicated or awkward. But when she called me a few hours after, and explained everything, I knew she was just as embarrassed as I was, so I just told we can forget the conversation ever happened.

I also know that I'm one of the only people she feels comfortable with. At the police station a few days ago when the officer was harassing her, she just came back to me, she's an open book to me. But to everyone else she's not. We trust each other. Witch I don't know her entire past but I know enough that trust doesn't come easy to her.

She struggled with nightmares a few years ago, and would call me to talk about them, no matter the time. That's why I know when she's struggling with something or not sleeping, because of how many times we talked about it, and how she presented herself when she told me about them. So I give her reminders when I know she hasn't slept, to sleep.

I know that she won't eat lunch if she has too much paperwork, but will make sure everyone else is eating. She will bring in coffee for everyone, or donuts. And she always remembers everyone's order, at the different fast food places they'll eat at.

For right now I'm happy with who we are and where we are. Maybe eventually she'll know, but for right now she won't.

Ahhh we now know he fell first. Witch is something I don't see very often in books anymore. Anyways as always what's your thoughts about it so far?
