The Love We Found. [A.H]

22. Ranch.

November 28th. The time is getting shorter for the court date. Everything is okay, is what I keep telling myself. It's hard to believe that I haven't had her for almost an entire year. She is so important to me it's not funny. I mean, me and Aaron's one year anniversary happened earlier in the year, I got older, we have had almost a hundred cases again and I'm always exhausted. Everything in Astrid's room has stayed the same, I haven't touched it. Something about trying to move it or anything makes me feel awful, so I haven't.

I put my stuff down at my desk as Emily and Reid are getting ready to go somewhere. “Where are you guys going?” I ask. “To this libertarian ranch to investigate a call” Emily says. “Actually Emily, could I go instead?” I ask and she nods. “I guess, I'll tell hotch when he gets here” she says and I nod. Me and Reid are ready to go and leave with a child service agent that is also going with us.

As we are pulling up to the ranch I pull out two fake IDs for me and Reid for Cyrus. The head of this “ranch” doesn't get mad. “Just use our real names but now we are child abuse investigators” I say and she nods. When we are in the ranch we step out, and the agent walks up to the first person who is sitting on a set of stairs. “I'm looking for Benjamin Cyrus” she says and he looks up. “You found him” he says and she nods. “We talked on the phone, I'm here to talk to the girls” she says and he nods.

We get led to a school of a sort and start talking to the girls. When Cyrus comes in shouting, with armed men, there's a raid going on that no one told us about.

-at the office, 3rd person pov-

Morgan, Emily and JJ are watching the news to find out that the ranch has been raided. “Isn't that the place Isabella and Spencer are at?” JJ asks and Emily nods. “HOTCH!” Morgan yells. And hotch hangs up the phone call he was on and runs out to the balcony and sees the news report. Emily had told him that Isabella went instead of her when he got here, but no one mentioned a raid on the ranch, he wouldn't have let them go if he knew. “Jet now” he says. Emily and Aaron share an eye contact that shows they have the same thought.

-isabella's pov-

Everyone heads down to this underground tunnel system into this bunker while Cyrus and the other men go to fight with the police. Me and Reid stay close to each other. The other agent with us gets annoyed and leaves us even through our protests. After about 30 minutes Cyrus comes back. “Your other person is dead, we tried to stop her but she got shot through a window” he says and me and Reid share a look. This isn't good.

-back with the team 3rd person-

Everyone is on the jet but Penelope. Penelope gives some details about the ranch and that helps us by bringing in Leo Kane, the founder of the ranch.
When they get to the compound Aaron puts Rossi as hostage organizer, he'll talk to Cyrus while Isabella and Spencer are in there while also bugging the things they give them. As Cyrus wants supplies, they will give, but they bug them, so they can hear everything.

Rossi walks up to the church door with the supplies and gets let in, the first thing he notices was the armed men, then the kids, then his eyes land on Isabella and Spencer. They make eye contact but don't say a word, Rossi looks back at Cyrus. After a short talk Rossi leaves.

-isabella's pov-

Rossi leaves, and knowing the team they bugged the stuff they brought, but when I look over at Cyrus and his men who are passing out wine, I know something is up. “She worships him, no way she made that 911 call” Reid whispers to me and I nod in agreement. When I look back at Cyrus he's talking. “we will be with him soon” “they've drunk the poison together” he says back to back. I look at everyone, some don't change, but others start crying. I look back at Reid, we share a look. This is a test to see who's loyal or not.
