The Love We Found. [A.H]

8: father

The jet ride home was okay, everyone's a little confused and very tired. When we get back to the bullpen, Aaron says we can just go home, when me and Astrid get home I get a phone call. “hey izzi, do you mind if me and Jack stop by so he and Astrid can meet?” he asks “of course, but I have one little request, and I'll pay you back, could you get coffee and donuts?” I ask and I hear a chuckle. “Of course, we will be over in 20” he says before hanging up.

20 minutes later Aaron and Jack are in my apartment with coffee and donuts. “Astrid come here” I call out, as I have in my guest room until we can go shopping for the stuff she wants. She walks out to see Aaron, Jack and the donuts. Jack runs up to her. “Hi I'm Jack, are you Astrid? My dad was telling me that he wanted me to meet you!” he says and I see that she's not scared or anything she's excited to meet him. “I am, my sissy was telling me about how she wanted me to meet you too!” She says. “Do you like star wars or marvel?” He asks. “I like both” she says and I smile, and Aaron comes and stands next to me. “They get along really well” he says and I nod in agreement. “Jack, you still have toys in the guest room if you want to go play in there” I say and then they run off, I look back at Aaron. “I'm Glad she has someone. This isn't going to be easy for her but I think she's more happy to be away from my parents than anything” I say and Aaron nods, taking a sip of his coffee. “I think they both need this” he says. “I couldn't agree more, I think that them having each other is important, I mean she just made a big move, and Jack has said that he struggles with have friends” he said “actually about that, I'm thinking about in rolling her into the same school as Jack, as they are in the same grade” I said. “That would be a good idea” he says and I nod.

After a few hours of them playing and us talking, me and Aaron agreed to a schedule that works for us. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays I get Jack and Astrid form school and Tuesdays and Wednesdays Aaron gets them from school. As Aaron had me call the school to enroll Astrid into Jack's class. Starting next week. Aaron and Jack end up leaving around 2 and I decide that we need to get stuff for Astrid's room and school stuff. And Aaron gave me a list of the stuff that she will need for school.

Me and Astrid are now at target, in the bedding section. She points to a bed sheet set that has flowers on it and I put it in the cart. She gets some stuffys and decorations she wants. She picks out clothes and stuff too, and the bathroom stuff she wants. I also get her school stuff and then we head to the check out. When we get back home, I start redoing her room so it's to her liking. She watches TV in the living room while I finish up. Making sure her toys have spots and her clothes are hung up and her bathroom is clean and comfortable.

We get pizza for dinner and then watch a movie of her choice with popcorn. She falls asleep halfway through and I put her to bed and then get ready for bed. Just as I'm about to shower I get a phone call. “Isabella, you need to get to the bau with your sister now,” Aaron says. “Alright I'll be there” I say before hanging up, I pack a small bag with her toys and wake her up enough for her to get to the car, we make it to the bau in no time and I make it to the 6th floor. Aaron tells Astrid she can sleep on the couch in his office while we go to the conference room.

When I walk in I see a video of our father escaping police custody while trying to transfer him. My heart sinks. Astrid just got back to me, she's happy. I feel a hand on my shoulder and see Aaron looking at me. “Isabella, calmează-te. Nu îl voi lăsa să se apropie de tine, niciunul dintre noi nu o va face.”
(Isabella, calm down. I won't let him near you, none of us will.)
I nod and take a deep breath. It's only me, Aaron and Penelope. “Penelope, do we know where he is right now?” I ask and she nods. “About an hour ago we got a tape of him from a gas station a mile from your apartment” she says and my heart drops. “He's after me, he wants me, he'll get me.” I say before walking back to my desk, ignoring the looks Aaron and Penelope gave me. “Call the rest of the team get them here, wire me, and I'll go back to my apartment and act like I don't know he's coming” I explain, putting my gun on my ankle holster. “Aaron make sure Astrid doesn't know, tell her that I'm just running an errand really quick” I say and he shakes his head.  “Nu te las să faci asta, nu voi fi cel care îi spune surorii tale ce sa întâmplat, nu te voi pierde.” He says, and I pause looking at him.
(I'm not letting you do this, I'm not going to be the one who tells your sister what happened, I'm not going to lose you.)
“Aaron, am și eu. Știu riscurile, ar putea să mă omoare, dar pe Aaron îl are deja, trebuie să fac asta, lasă-mă să obțin dreptate atât pentru mine, cât și pentru sora mea.” I plead.
(Aaron, I have too. I know the risks, he could kill me, but Aaron he already has, I need to do this, let me get Justice for both me and my sister.) He sighs and pulls out his phone. He makes one big group call to everyone. “I need everyone here now” he says before ending it. “You can go but text me as soon as you get there and call me so I hear everything, okay?” He says and I nod.

I get back to my apartment and call him, we both stay quiet and it doesn't take long for my father to get to my apartment. As he barges in, without warning. I acted surprised to see him. “Te-am găsit! acum stai jos.”
(I found you! Now sit down)
He yells and I sit down, he pulls one of my kitchen chairs out to my living room and sits across from me. “o să-ți amintesc despre ce s-a întâmplat.”
(I'm going to remind you what's happened) he says and I just nod. “You have always been a dirty little whore, I mean you slept with your tutor, you dress like a slut and I bet you fuck that boss of yours.” He spoke in English which surprised me a little bit. “First of all, what happened with my tutor was against my will, I didn't agree to that, and I don't dress like a slut I dress like a highly educated woman who has to dress professional, and I'm not fucking my boss” I say, trying to stay level headed. My father rolls his eyes. “Whatever, you still are a whore, no matter what you say, I heard that you go out to bars a lot, and drink a lot” he says. “Me and my team go out after hard cases and drink, I'm never drunk though” I say. “Oh and have you ever gone home with someone?” He asks and I roll my eyes. “No I haven't” and he rolls his eyes. “I'm going to ruin your little family you have with that team of yours because you don't deserve them, you are an idiot and slept your way through university” and the stuff he's saying starts to genuinely hurt, but my rage become noticable, and I lunge forward and pin him to the ground. “You even lay a finger on my team, I'll kill you myself, you don't get to hurt them, only me” I say and he smirks and throws me off him, and pins me to the floor. “You love them don't you? More specifically you love your boss, and his kid” he says. “Don't you fucking dare bring Aaron or jack into this, this is my war not there's, you don't deserve to talk about them” I yell punching him in the face.

3rd person

In the conference room, the screen shows Isabella's living room as we made her set up a camera, and we see her fight with her father. Penelope and Reid leave not wanting to see and JJ and Emily go distract Astrid, so only Aaron, Morgan and Rossi stay and watch, they see the rage you hold, they see everything.

Isabella's pov

He punches me back and it turns into a full fight, before he grabs one of my kitchen knives and I pull out my gun. “Drop the fucking knife or I shoot” I say harshly, he drops it surprisingly and I end up cuffing him, the team ended up coming to my apartment for back up when they saw the fight start, and Aaron forces me to have the emts check me out. I walk back to the group and say little things but I'm more worried about Astrid.
“e bine? Văd că jj și Emily nu sunt aici.”
(Is she alright? I see JJ and Emily aren't here)
I ask and he nods. “E în regulă, i-am pus pe Emily și pe jj să rămână cu ea ca să nu fie singură și cred că trebuie să vorbim... singuri.”
(she's alright, I had Emily and JJ stay with her so she wasn't alone, and i think we need to talk...alone.)
He says and I nod. We walk away from the group. “Isabella, are you sure you can continue to work right now with everything that has happened?” He asks. “Aaron for the love of God, don't bench me, if anything I need to work after everything that has happened” I say and he nods, surprisingly he doesn't argue or anything. We all head back to the bau and I tell Astrid I was just working on something important and it's nothing to worry about. As I tried to clean up the apartment so she doesn't ask questions. We make it home safely and I finally get to shower and got to sleep.
