Chapter Five

After dinner Reina helped out Noctis with his work that he needed help with and she made sure that he didn't make any mistakes while they worked together. Once she was done helping him out she went to her room to sleep for the next day. The next day it was known that Luna had gone back home and that it had to deal with Reina on why she was sent back home. Many of the under and upperclassmen weren't happy with knowing that Luna was gone.

When their first break happened more than a few people from their class as well as other classes found and cornered her. Reina knew it was going to happen and let them get their rage out by talking loudly towards her as they got their frustration out. Once they were done talking Reina opened her eyes and looked at all of them.

"Do you all feel better talking down to a princess? Do you all even know what all even happened for Princess Lunafreya to even leave this place to go to her own? Or are you just angered by the sheer rumors of what's going around by people who don't know the whole truth?" Reina asked calmly

None of them spoke which made Reina sigh out stressed out. She kept her hands behind her as she continued to calmly speak to those who had crowded her.

"Princess Lunafreya's first impression to me wasn't the best, as a demon I cannot lie or I will not be able to breathe properly. It is the curse that was placed upon all of those that are demon kin. So please do take heed over what I speak to all of you. Lunafreya had called my kin ugly and thought us to be savages that would have harmed him and his father. Which was far from the truth. She also had the gull to think that I would take Prince Noctis from her-her jealousy and envy that she wasn't the only female that Prince Noctis ended up being around got the better of her. My first night around the two that woman went through my things to try to find something to place out for everyone to know that was 'hidden' when I don't hide things from people. What you see is what you get. That same night she also tried to kill me saying that I was a dangerous woman and shouldn't be allowed near the prince."

All of those who had been around her had no idea such things happened to her and backed off a bit knowing that she was the victim in the situation-not lunafreya. Reina saw this and took no heed to saying anything about it.

"King regis told her that night she had one more chance to prove that she was willing to cooperate with those who his kingdom cooperates with otherwise she'd be sent home. She didn't heed his threat yesterday. I had gone to Prince Noctis's father about a situation that was going on and she had come in saying things about me that were highly racist towards my kin and I. That's what made her go home. It wasn't anything I've ever done or said to the woman that made her leave. All of you may hate me because she showed such an angelic sweet side of her around people-but she isn't. She masks away all of her cruel and vile way of thinking and all of her ugly that she doesn't wish people to see. So if you all still hate me go on and do your worse demons can take a lot from people so I'm willing to take whatever repressed stupid anger all of you males have against me being here."

As she spoke the last bit she placed her hands out on either side of her. None of them wanted to hurt her. Instead they left her be, which made her sigh out before she rushed into hiding on the rooftop. Once her body calmed down enough to know she was safe she began to cry into her knees until she ended up falling asleep on the rooftop. It wasn't until she was shaken awake that she realized she had even fallen asleep to begin with.

She noticed the person who had woken her up was a rather chubby male with blond hair and blue eyes. She backed away quickly as she didn't know who the male was. "W-Who are you?"

"Oh...sorry. I just..I just felt bad for you going through so much Princess Reina. Um...I'm Prompto. We're in the same class together. I...I noticed that you weren't in class earlier so I went looking for you."
