Chp 4: A Friendly Bunny?

-The next day-

Pomni, Zooble, Kinger, and Gangle standing in the courtyard

Oh boy, it's really coming down, and kinda cold too. Pomni said as she looked into the sky, seeing it raining
Yeah, luckily it's not as bad as the last time it rained.

Yeah, that day was pretty... Dull. Kinger said Wait? Where is Ragatha & Jax? He asked
Oh yeah, I haven't seen him most of the day. Pomnj brought up
I believe she said something about helping Jax with his bruises in the nurse's office. Gangle said

Wait?! What happened!? Pomni asked, seeming concerned
The same guys he ran from the other day caught him lackin. But sadly, his face or vocal cords aren't badly damaged... Zooble complained. Pomni giggled nervously
R-right-

Just before Pomni could walk off, Jax & Ragatha walked out of the cafeteria
Seriously Jax, why don't you do something other than running?
I told you before, dollface. I do not need to sully my hands with them filthy pe-

Jax! Pomni said as she ran over to him
Oh boy! Lemme guess you're going to complain about me getting beat up or something along that line? He asked  jokingly

N-no, I wanted to see if you were okay!
Pomnj answered, Jax suddenly grew a confused look on his face
Hm? Jax? Are you? Pomni said, slightly tilting her head

Y-yeah! I am! But before you get on me about my bruises, where is your hoodie? He asked
Huh? Oh yeah, I didn't bring it, I didn't know it was gonna rain today-

Suddenly Jax took his hoodie off
Here! He said as he stuck his hood out for Pomni
W-what? You don't have to do that for me.

I'm not doing it for you, I just don't like it when people aren't dressed for the occasion.
Jax took a knee and put the hoodie on Pomni. Pomni remained there wearing Jax's hoodie

There... Better? Jax as he stood up
I didn't need this... But I am thankful for you letting me wear it. Pomni said happily Hm?
Pomni grabbed part of the hoodie and sniffed

What the hell? Why are you smelling it?! Jax asked
It's nothing, you just have a nice smell. Pomni said wholeheartedly

R-right... Well just bring it back before the end of the school day. Imma chill on the rooftop of the school.
Jax walked off

Did he... Actually, do that? Gangle asked in disbelief
I can't believe what I just saw. Zooble said
I-is Jax having... Character development!? Kinger asked

The hell do you mean?! Zooble asked
Well, you know. In literature character development is the craft of giving a character a personality, depth, and motivations that propel them through a story. Character development is also defined as how a character evolves throughout the course of a story.
Like a "Dynamic character"  is a character who goes through some sort of change.
A "Static character" is a character who does not change throughout the course of the story.
"Round character" is a character who is a fully developed figure.
And a "Flat character" is a character who does not develop or change throughout the story.

Gangle, Pomni, Ragatha, and Zooble all just remained quiet as they looked at him with a confused look on their faces

Sorry, I like to read and do research... Do you guys want to hear about my insect collection? He asks

B-but Pomni, we're kinda surprised to see Jax so... "Considering"? Ragatha said
More like less of an ass of himself! But yeah, Jax doesn't like to let anybody wear his clothes, especially that hoodie. Zooble stated

He doesn't even let people hold it for him. Gangle spoke up
Huh... M-maybe he felt pity for me? Pomni suggested

Well, whatever it may be, you having some kind of positive effect on him. Ragatha said

Wait, is he not a positive person?
Not at all... Gangle said We can't exactly say it because it's his personal life.

-4 Hours Later-

Jax walked down the stairway, as he reached the the bottom flight, he saw Pomni waving timidly at him
Oh, hey kid, finally returning the hoodie? He asked a rhetorical question

Y-yeah... And hey, Ragatha and the others told me you're bad at math.
Oh, they did, Huh?! He said with an aggressive smile. Pomni giggled nervously y-yes... But I would like to come over to your place. She said softly

Did the others put you up to this? He asked straightforward
N-n-no! Not at all! It's strictly work! Nothing else!

You know, when you say "It's strictly work, nothing else" that gives off some hidden vibes, heh. He said as he tilted his head

"Hidden vibes"? She repeated
Oh nothing, but sure, you can Come!
Great! She said slightly worried, Jax scratched his head outta confusion

Guess the shippers are gonna be feasting happily again
