Pomni... You have to understand that we all live different lives, some have it better than others, look at your family, they raised you to be a well-mannered young lady and look at Jax. You may see it wrong for Jax to speak what he has been bottling up for years, but you also have to check them both. Jax is a victim of abuse and neglect. Do you not understand how many kids would rather die knowing they can be set free from their parent's wrath? Jax was more than likely one of the kids too, and it's easier to see because without the contacts, his eyes look soulless. I want you to think about how you feel if you were in Jax's position, all the pain he endured, the price he paid trying to be a good child to his parents, showing them love and respect. Only for them to harm you to the point you're scared to love or trust others but do it just so you can have somewhat of a social life... The author & readers are the prime examples of people who have been through it and still are here. Think about it, Pomni, think about it, and him...
