Chp 43: What if? (Short)

Jax is sitting in the living room watching a new show from Glitch on YouTube along with Pomni. "Oh boy, a new show, possibly can't be ruined by the fans!" Jax said with an attitude, catching Pomni's attention. "Huh? What do you mean, Jax?" She asked.

"A new show is already over a load of fans ready to ruin it by shipping character."
"What? What's wrong with shipping characters?" Pomni asked. "You can't hop on a new show and already start shipping characters, it's weird, cringe, and screams; I ship people because I have a crappy love life," Jax stated.

"I mean it's a new show, people shipping isn't that bad, I mean it's one way to keep a show's fandom alive"
"In the weirdest way possible, not to mention the characters only met on the pilot of the show, how are they shipped already? They haven't even had a solid conversation other than him being a douche!" He said in a slightly annoyed tone.

"Well... Maybe shipping characters isn't healthy; maybe some people ship characters because it's something they find interesting, maybe give them a positive feeling, even." Pomni said, putting her hands together nervously.

Jax leaned forward, looking down at Pomni, "So you're telling me that if you and I were hypothetically shipped by people, you wouldn't have a problem with it?" Jax asked, Pomni's face slowly turned red, turning her face away.
"Don't get nervous on me now, If we were just friends and people said that they want us to go out, date, tease, do things that those horny Wattpad readers be reading, you wouldn't have any problems with that?" Jax asked, making Pomni's face beet red.

"N-no... Not at all" Pomni answered, stunning Jax slightly. "Because... I love you, Jax!" She said boldly as she looked at Jax, "Being with you... I feel... I feel happy, I feel comfortable like we have good chemistry, maybe great chemistry! I know... That's what we've been through... Was pretty bad... And I feel bad for what I did... But..." Pomni stopped momentarily, feeling her heartbeat rapidly beating at an abnormal rate.

"But I can be honest with you! I like you! I want to know you more than anyone else! I... I want to know you better mentally! Emotionally too! Not to mention spiritually... A-and... And..."
'Especially physically'
She wanted to say but didn't. "A-anyway! What... What do you think... About my answer?" She nervously asked.

"Pomni... I know I said a Hypothetical question, but you didn't have to go that deep into details, you know," He said just before he laughed. Putting a distraught look on Pomni's face. "All I asked was just a hypothetical question; you didn't have to say all that extra stuff, you know? Heh, that was pretty funny if I say so"

Pomni laughed along with Jax, playing it off, 'I WANT TO FUCKING DIE!!!!!!' Pomni thought to herself.

"Anyway, I'm about to get something to snack on from the pantry, brbs!" Jax said as he stood up, Pomni waited for Jax to leave, just before she grabbed a pillow off the couch and screamed at it.
