Secrets

Silence filled the car ride as JJ looked straight head, her eyes never leaving the road.

All she could see was Reids stomach, and all the scars that were inflicted on him, it made her shiver.

After what felt like hours JJ finally opened her mouth "do you wanna talk about it" she offered, but he just sat there in silence like he had been since JJ woke him up from his dream.

"Spence" she tried again but he sat there in silence, he looked lost and confused but it was impossible not to see the sadness across his face as he stared at the window almost longingly.

As JJ went to try say something, Reid's hand found the volume and it wasn't long before music was booming through the car, JJ shot him a glare but he seemed ignorant as if he was in his little world.

JJ pulled up outside the FBI and slid out of the car, Spencer doing the same. The two walked in silence when JJ grabbed his arm and turned him to face her.

"Spence we need to talk about it, this" JJ said, the sun was rising in the background and JJ could see how damaged he really was.

"Talk about what" he said avoiding her gaze, like he was afraid of something to look her in the eye.

"Spence look at me" JJ demanded and she felt her stomach churn when his eyes locked onto hers, "please" she pleaded as she looked up at him, her eyes pleading.

"Jennifer, it's nothing" he said through gritted teeth and JJ sighed, she hates it when people call her that it always meant they were angry at her.

"Spence, it's not nothing" JJ said, getting frustrated, how could he leave her and not tell her anything, push her away.

"JJ, can you stop" Spencer said as he looked up at her, his hands trembling, something inside her snapped "Spence, you can't expect to 'stop' you left me for a year, a year and now your pushing me away." JJ almost yelled, and Spencer looked at her his eyes widening "what? You think I wanted to go" he said and JJ felt shivers run down her spine.

"I spent every day, wanting to come back, be with everyone again, be with you huh? I was stuck there, I made no friends had no one" Spencer yelled and JJ watched as his hands began trembling, and she knew she had seen this before.

"Spence, are you taking it again" she said meeting his eyes. Reid's eyes flashes and he walked off JJ watched his fleeting figure and felt the urge to run after him and apologise.

The two entered the building a five minute time difference between the two. It was obvious the two had a fight, they were sitting on opposite sides of the room and refusing to look at each other.
