Jennifer Jareau paced up and down the hallway, tears still falling as she waited for a sign of a hope, something to tell her he would be ok, but so far nothing, there was nothing, no news absolutely nothing.
After what felt like hours of just walking up and down underneath the bright white lights a surgeon appeared JJ couldn't help but gulp when she noticed the amount of blood that covered his scrubs.
"You must his fiancée" the surgeon said with a smile and JJ nodded wiping away her tears "why don't we have a seat" he offered and JJ nodded taking a seat in one of the two chairs.
"So he's lost a blood, and has a lot of internal damage, other then that he should be fine" he offered with a weak smile but JJ shook her head knowing he was sugar coating it "look I'm a cop, I know how this works just tell me" she said blinking back tears and he nodded "his left leg had non repairable damage, so we had to do a leg amputation" those words sliced through JJ's heart like a knife "oh." She said softly feeling her heart drop and a lump form in the back of throat, "can I see him" she choked and he nodded pointing to a room.
