Wedding

The smell of the ocean filled the air as Reid stood his feet up against the soft sand, his hair had been brushed so it was completely tassel free and he was in black tuxedo with a white shirt.

His face had that sort of happiness radiating off it as he looked at the people in front of him, the crowd consisted of FBI officers and family but it was a small gathering and there was something about it that just made it so special.

Reid felt a tug at his leg and he looked down to see Henry looking up at him a huge smile on his little face as he held some roses in his hand.

Morgan stood just to the side of Reid in a fully fitted black tuxedo, Hotch, Henry, Jack and Rossi were standing close to Morgan all in the same style of suit, even though Jack and Henry weren't adults Reid had still asked all four of them to be the people he stood up with on the day that would become the happiest day of his life.

A big red carpet was laid out in the middle of the audience, and while Reid looked down at Henry both of them playing some sort of game, there was the sound of music and Reid lifted his head feeling his heart stop.

There were no words to describe how he was feeling right now, he was more than happy he was over the moon happy, he could feel his face twitching as it smiled.

He blocked all sounds out as he saw her walking towards him, her blonde hair dangled loose over her shoulders and she was in a strapless white dress that hung down at her ankles.

A pure white flower was tucked into her hair, and her blue eyes where bright as they looked at the person a few metres away from her.

Reid felt another tap at his legs and it snapped him out of his trance as he crouched down to Henry "she looks so beautiful" the little boy exclaimed his eyes widening with happiness.

Reid felt his prosthetic move beneath him and he stood up, flashing Henry a smile. JJ said goodbye to her Father who shot a warning glare at Reid who nodded, Emily and Garcia stood behind JJ in gold dresses there hair was banging loose over there shoulders as they beamed from ear to ear there faces radiating.

JJ stood on the podium giving the white boutique to go Garcia before she faced Reid again, they joined hands and Reid immediately felt his hands warm as he smiled at her.

When it came to speaking the vowels Reid was given the ring by Morgan who gave him a congratulations pat and Reid turned to face JJ who also had his ring in her fingers.

Taking her hands in his again Reid looked directly into her blue eyes, "The first day I met you, I was a shy person keeping myself hidden from the world, and you showed me how to climb out of my shell you gave me a change at love and you made me become someone I never thought I could be" Reid said as he gently slipped the ring onto her finger, he could see her blue eyes glistening and he became tempted to cry.

"I thought I had my life planned out, but then I met you and that all changed, you showed me how to live outside the box and be someone amazing, you showed me my way in the world and taught me that in the end love always wins."

Reid felt the cool surface of the ring slide onto his finger a year ran down his cheek and then everything become a blur he couldn't see anything but her, the way her blue eyes shined when they looked at him, he couldn't hear anything just the beating of his own heart.

"You may kiss the bride" a voice snapped Reid from his thoughts when he felt lips crash against his, JJ's arms wrapped around his neck and he hugged her waist.

Cheers erupted from the crowd as the finally broke apart and when the looked down they saw a little blonde boy looking up at them with shining eyes.
