Isn't it so strange
One day, meeting someone
Through time, they change
While you thought they were the one?
They say you grow through experiences
Well, sometimes they don't give any chances,
Or you come out of them
Being a completely different item
That's what happened with you and me, didn't it?
We kissed,
Then you left,
And that was it.
Well, you came back, though
Not that you wanted to
Just that I was never able to resist the idea of you
And what we could have been from that day on.
Only I saw that nothing was the same
You were rude, and mean, and immature
The opposite of your once showed nature
Well, what a shame
You even got yourself a perfect little girlfriend
Her name was Olivia
So I was finally just a friend that you could have fucked if you wanted to,
Since I believed so much in you.
Can I really be mad,
Or even sad?
We were both so young,
And ignored everything about where we were going
That's why I don't have any other choice
Than wishing you all the happiness
We're both so reckless
But it's me who ended up being the second choice.
