When I woke up and saw the Sun rise outside
A realization came to me, like a tide
You were always the first thing that reached my mind in the morning,
But not for that type of thing
Because yes, my thoughts were all about you these days
You were the sun, and it was only when your rays
Came through the window that was my mind
That would feel the need to be kind
But why did I never ask myself
If you were other's center of the world, too
And it suddenly makes so much sense
Where we are, everything's about you
You're our Sun
And we're only the little planets,
Orbiting and attracted to your gravity like magnets
Without you, we're all long gone
Each move we do
Every word we say
Everything is meant to please you
All praising your "hey"
How stupid of me to think I was the only one
I just had to look around
And notice that really
You're the center of the world, baby
