Yesterday, a vision occurred to me
We were alone, in a room full of people
The music was blasting so loud
But we were just looking at each other.
Usually, I was the one looking at you
And you were the one dancing
But this time, we were both moving
Our eyes captured in the beauty of our bodies
And that's when I realized that not only was I madly in love with you, but I could not have you.
Gosh, I felt so sorry for myself
My selfish and stupid self
Yes, when we were together, we were able to create our own little world,
But that same universe turned to dust the moment another spoke a word.
I should have known it since the beginning,
Since the moment I looked at you and knew that without you, I could be dying
That even with all my hope and faith,
We would receive too much hate
At least I can love you from afar
Wishing that we're gonna make it far
As friends, of course
It's way more simple, isn't it?
And in the end, it's probably better for the whole fucking world.
I just had to realize it.
