I finally met someone else
Or I think so
My mom's friend's son
My sister could tell
He's nice,
Kind of a cutie,
Very sporty,
And I find his arrogant sarcasm funny
All I could ask for,
You would think
But what if before it reaches the shore,
My boat sinks?
Because in his watercolour eyes,
I'm seeing reflections of you and I
His jokes remind me of how you would make me laugh so hard I cried
The way he looks at me just like you did, smile so big your glowy eyes would almost close
The worst in all of it
Is when I see you, standing in front of me
And I think: "Shit,"
"How am I even supposed to get over your memory?"
All the littlest details reach my mind when I see him
In these waters, I don't know how to swim
And how am I supposed to love him
If the thought of you makes me boat sink?
