When your golden eyes looked at me
Craving with envy
I knew I couldn't resist you
Even if all of this could not be true
Who would've known
When I saw you at the entrance
That I would be completely blown
By the way our bodies dance
You told me you adored me
Sweet verity
You told me to look at you
Only tomorrow, to make me keep my gaze of you
I hoped we would be chasing stars
That you would be the one to heal my scars
Only to see
That even more, you hurt me
Oh, how I wish I would've been able to say no that day..
I just randomly found this first version of "golden eyes" that I was looking for when writing the second version hahaha. Which version do you like more? The original or the new one? Let me know! :)
