The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow on Joohyun's face as she slowly opened her eyes. The soft rays, however, did little to alleviate the pounding in her head, a reminder of the indulgence of the previous night.
"Ugh... My head..", Joohyun mumbled under her breath as she slowly sat up and looked around, noticing that she was in her room and the same outfit as yesterday. Now deciding to change into some comfortable clothing that smelled something other than alcohol.
"How did I get home last night..?", Joohyun asked herself as she finished dressing in shorts and a long t-shirt after showering before heading downstairs as she continued drying her hair with a towel but momentarily slowed down after hearing movement coming from the kitchen.
"Oh Joohyun, good morning. How are you feeling?", Seulgi asked as she came from the kitchen while wiping her hands with a towel as Joohyun eyed her with curious and confused eyes.
"Hung over, but for the most part better. What time is it?", Joohyun answered and sniffed, liking the aroma roaming into her nostrils.
"A little past nine and I made some food to help your hangover.", Seulgi responded and Joohyun nodded as she happily walked behind the taller into the dining room where the plates were already laid out.
"Help yourself, I've already eaten.", Seulgi mentioned as she sat in front of the older while taking sips out of her coffee.
"I appreciate you doing this. Thank you Seulgi.", Joohyun thanked and Seulgi gave her a small nod as the older began digging into the food.
"By the way, how did we get back home?", Joohyun curiously asked and Seulgi momentarily paused from taking another sip of her mug as she looked at Joohyun.
"You don't remember how we got here?", Seulgi wondered, but the older shook her head.
"Not really, I don't remember much after you and Bogum had an arm wrestling match. Which if you ask me, I'm still disappointed about.", Joohyun replied and Seulgi's ears perked up.
So she doesn't remember me jumping out of the window with her? Let alone how she tried- That's beside the point, Seulgi told herself and refocused again.
"Would it make you feel better if I won the match?", Seulgi hypothetically asked, but the older only gave her a 'seriously' look.
Should I tell her about getting drugged? Seulgi wondered as she stared at her mug in thought.
"Did anything happen last night?", Joohyun asked shortly after, causing Seulgi to snap back to reality.
"Not really, why?", Seulgi lied and picked up her mug to take a sip.
"I don't know, you just have a certain look that makes me feel like you're hiding something.", Joohyun pointed out and Seulgi hummed after swallowing the bitter liquid.
"Did I by any chance.. do or say something really stupid?", Joohyun hesitantly asked and Seulgi laughed while shaking her head.
"No, you didn't, don't worry. It was like every other night, just intoxicated in this case.", Seulgi assured, not knowing if she should give her the whole story.
