Chapter I (✓)

As the sun rose, Joohyun found herself waking up from her sleep as she rubbed her eyes and stretched while moaning before jumping onto her feet after remembering it was the first day of school.

She quickly did her morning routine and changed into the school uniform which consisted of a black skirt, white button-up with a navy blue bowtie, and school jacket to go over it as she made sure everything that she needed was in her book bag before walking downstairs to have some breakfast.

"Some cheerios will do the trick.", Joohyun told herself as she grabbed the items before taking a seat to have her bowl of cereal alongside of a banana as she received a call from a close friend of hers.

"Oh Yongsun-ah, are you almost done getting ready?", Joohyun asked after answering the phone.

"Yeah, I'm all set, just having some breakfast. Has Sooyoung texted you or anything though?", Yongsun answered and Joohyun hummed.

"She hasn't, why?", Joohyun wondered.

"Just curious since she hasn't texted the group chat like she usually does.", Yongsun said.

"Maybe she's just excited about it being the first day of school that she forgot.", Joohyun responded with a shrug.

"Yeah, maybe.", Yongsun replied.

"Either way, I'll have my driver pick you up in ten if that's alright.", Joohyun mentioned shortly after.

"I'll be done eating by then. See you!", Yongsun agreed and Joohyun nodded.

"See you too Yong.", Joohyun smiled before ending the call and she went back to eating her cereal.

Why hasn't Sooyoung texted? Joohyun wondered, knowing that the younger usually messages first to bug them.

Back in the house, Seulgi found herself sipping on a glass filled with blood as she patiently waited for the other two to finish getting ready, but realized that they wouldn't finish anytime soon since they were bickering.

"Can you two idiots at least finish getting ready before arguing? The witch's daughter is also kind enough to come to take us to school so hurry.", Seulgi stated from the dining room, but loud enough for the other two to hear as they smelled blood, causing them to rush down.

"Right, feed here before either one of you idiots snaps and bites a human.", Seulgi commented and gestured towards the two other cups filled with blood that she kindly poured before taking in their appearance.

"Can you help me with this damn tie? Wan over here doesn't want to.", Moonbyul asked after chugging the cup in one go as Seungwan took sips before all stopping once they heard the doorbell ring.

"I'll help Byul with the tie, you go get the door. It's probably the witch.", Seulgi instructed and Seungwan nodded as she walked over to the door and opened it without a second thought as she was greeted with a beauty.

"You must be Seungwan, nice to meet you. I'm Sooyoung.", Sooyoung greeted and bowed her head as Seungwan gulped in adoration, but the taller just eyed her weirdly before giggling.
