Seulgi, a one hundred-seventy-year-old vampire with a fierce determination, found herself reluctantly being sent to a human public school. As she protested against this decision, her family believed it was essential for her to follow the lead and uncover the truth behind an incident that had shattered trust between humans and vampires centuries ago.

Years of secrecy had kept the vampire community hidden from the human world, but now Seulgi's presence in a bustling high school was bound to attract attention. Still, she understood the gravity of the task at hand, knowing that revealing the truth behind the inside could restore the trust between vampires and humans so they wouldn't live in secrecy any longer.

Intrigued by the prospect of solving this mystery, Seulgi persuaded her uncles to get her cousins to accompany her despite their protest and sulking regarding their dislike of being sent after teasing their cousin.

"Moon Byul Yi, enough whining you're going so pack your bags.", Uncle Moon firmly stated as Moonbyul loudly sighed and bit her lower lip.

"Son Seungwan, same for you. Pack your bags and no more protesting. The decision is final.", Uncle Son added as Seungwan puffed her cheeks and rolled her eyes before turning to look at Seulgi who grinned widely.

"Suckers.", Seulgi mouthed towards her two idiot cousins who sulked and secretly flipped her off when their parents began talking about their departure.

"When do we leave? I think the sooner we get situated the better.", Seulgi asked and stood up from the couch she was in as she looked at her father.

"I made some calls for rearrangements. A house is already booked for you three to live in meanwhile you stay in the town and as soon as you get there you'll be greeted by a witch friend of mine, so give her your utmost respect. Their family has done a lot for ours these past few centuries. She'll help you settle in.", Mr. Kang stated and they nodded.

"Our driver will take you three after we have dinner one last time, per your mother's request.", Mr. Kang added.

"Before we do, you three need to keep some things in mind because once again, humans have made it very clear that they despise us.", Uncle Moon began as they intently listened in.

"If it isn't obvious, do not tell anyone- Even if you think you trust them, what you are. Let alone use your powers out in the open, which in other words translates to acting as a human- Blend in and do not stand out whatsoever.", Uncle Moon stated.

"The last thing we want is for a stake to be driven into your hearts, so don't be stupid.", Mr. Kang commented and they nodded, knowing that already.

"Rule number two, no feeding on people. Yes, the temptation will be unbearable, but stick to your blood packs or hunt animals at night for blood. No human will ever be used as a source of food for us.", Uncle Son mentioned.

"I think that's pretty clear.", Seungwan mentioned, but her father quickly gave her a glare that shut her down.

"Anyways, the most crucial thing to keep in mind is that most humans are vervain-kempt, so trying to compel them will rarely work, and keep a close eye out for jewelry on them. It's usually filled with vervain so stray away from them.", Uncle Moon continued and the girls nodded.

"Do you girls understand everything so far?", Mr. Kang asked.

"Yes, we'll make sure to keep them in mind once we're there.", Seulgi answered and the men nodded in relief.

"Good, let's go eat dinner then. I already heard your mother's calling out for us.", Mr. Kang mentioned as the girls got up from the couch and followed them to the dining room.

Whatever, let's solve whatever they need us to so we can come back home quicker, no games, Seungwan pitched in after noticing them glaring at each other.

With that, Seulgi settled with their goal and anticipated an in and out of town, but to her demise, she wouldn't have expected the outcome of her stay.
