Chapter eleven

"The usual," I ordered as soon as I sat on a high chair at my usual place. I was waiting for the bartender to serve my usual drink as my eyes were wandering inside the bar.

I was wearing my black asymmetric cross-back satin dress. It was a mini-dress that fit to my liking.

It is the same. The ambience, the little naughty smokes, the colours and of course, the wild pips that were enjoying their life after a whole ass week.

"Oh my! I didn't expect to meet Cadence Dela Cuesta alone with her favourite margarita in her hands," a slim woman exclaimed. She has a high ponytail that emphasizes her small oval-shaped face. The smokey-eye makeup fitted her almond-shaped eyes.

She was wearing a deep v-neck black lacy bralette that was paired with her black mini-bandage skirt that I calculated above the knee.

She was slim and sexy, had a pretty and small face, just my type for the flavour of the night.

"Want me to accompany you?" she was seducing me. I see. Her voice was too seductive, airy to the point that my hand began to move and claim her tiny little waist.

Her long fingertip immediately came in contact with my bare shoulders, making me smirk because I knew what tactics she was portraying.

I sipped on my glass as the girl was talking non-stop.

I am the same Cadence. I find other girls pretty and seductive too. I like to be around them, very different from how Maureen viewed me.

The girl moved and leaned towards me and I immediately let myself caress her bare back. She smirked and let her hands wander on my waist.

Her mouth has a mixture of alcohol and smoke, I try to give her a more intense kiss, I even close my eyes as I wander my hands over her waist.

She was sitting on my lap, we were very oblivious to the surroundings, and only the kiss was important at that moment.

But minutes passed, ang dapat init na mararamdaman ko sa ilang minutes halikan na iyon ay hindi dumating. I was waiting for it to prove Maureen wrong. I never liked her. I will never like someone, especially the calibre that Mackenzie Sirene has.

"I'm sorry," hinihingal pa ako nang bigla kong pinutol ang halik. I can sense that the girl I am with was confused but I don't think that I can deal with that when I, myself am also confused with what I truly feel.

I can't like her... She has a perfect family. She wants a perfect family. How the hell can I give it to her if she asked me that?

Silly! How sure are you, that she likes you too?

"Why! What's wrong?" hahabulin pa sana niya ako nang inisang lagok ko ang margaritang hawak ko bago nag-iwan ng pera sa table pero hindi ko na 'yon binigyan ng pagkakataon.

Nsng makarating sa parking lot, mabilis akong pumasok sa driver's seat at ilang minuto pang natulala, iniisip kung ano ba ang kakaiba at nagbago sa akin. Sure! I can kiss other girls but a part of me was telling me that what I was doing was wrong. A part of me was not giving the same satisfaction as the kisses that I had before Amarys, lalo na nang dumating siya.

"You aren't the same Cadence Amari, anymore," Maureen erupted the silence that ate the surrounding between us.

I was very determined to looked away from her sight, pero the secured voice of her made me gulped in frustration because I know, if I tried to weigh myself, I know that I fucked up...big time.
