Ch. 23

I am stuffed. The food was delicious. I wonder what my moms doing. I should call her before I sleep.

"Soooo whose doing the dishes?" I ask
"Me and Zach will do them." Hailey says
"Alrighty then, I'm stuffed and I think it's time for a shower."
I say and get up to take a shower. I might go to sleep early tonight.

Tonight was pretty fun, cooking and relaxing with my friends is always gonna be a good time. I've gotten head from Cade, several kisses from Asher, and I danced with a guy I had a huge crush on in high school. I would say I'm doing well in the love department. Although I don't think I will actually date any of them, I'm glad I got the experience.

I'm currently in the shower and I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yell and then I hear the door open

"Can I get in with you?" Cade asks

"No, just because we did some stuff doesn't mean you get the perks of being my actual boyfriend." I say looking out from the shower

"Come on let me get in." He begs

"No I'm done anyways." I say while turning off the water and stepping out naked to grab my towel.

"Your body is amazing."
"Thanks." I say while wrapping the towel around me and going into the room.

"So, what are your plans when we get back home?"

"Well I'm supposed to start being a nanny so I'm excited about that." I say while putting lotion on

"Oh cool you like kids?"
"Love them I want 5. 2 adopted and I wanna give birth to 3." I say with a smile

"I think it's sweet that you want a big family."
"Thanks."
"When do you wanna start that family?"
"After I finish college and I get married." I say while putting pajamas on
"I never took you for the settling down type." He says with a laugh

"Cade I don't sleep around as much as you think. I want to get married. I'm just not good at relationships yet." I say and roll my eyes

"I guess your right. What's your favorite color?" He asks

"Why are you asking me all these questions?"

"I'm trying to get to know you better. Is that a problem?"

"No, I mean I don't really see the point in all that. After this trip you're just gonna ask Sara to be your girlfriend." I say to him

"Ehh I don't think I'm gonna ask her out. She's pretty but she's way too jealous." He says while taking off his clothes to get in the shower

"She has a reason to be. You are very good looking."

"Thanks." He says and now he's standing in front of me completely naked. Im definitely impressed by his body.

"Why are you in front of me naked?"

"Just giving you a preview of what you'll be seeing later." He winks and then walks into the shower

I walk into the living room to see Asher is in there alone.
"Where's Regina?" I ask him
"Rain went back home. You can come back in the room tonight."

I laugh at him. He must be stupid.

"Asher, I'm not sleeping in that room. I told you that I liked you and you slept with another girl." I say with an attitude

"Only because you said you wouldn't be jealous."

I sigh and look at him

"Asher I wouldn't have been jealous of another girl because I thought I would never have a reason to. I thought that you actually cared about me. That no one could take you away from me. So I tested you and you failed." I say seriously

"Why couldn't you have just said that?" He asks me while looking a little hurt. Not by my words but by his actions.

"Cause then I'd never know the real you. I needed to be able to trust you. I needed to know that nothing I said would make you stray away. But now I know I could never be safe with you. You are irrational when you're upset. You kicked me out of the room. You called her to come over. You had sex with her while I was on the couch crying. I'm sorry Asher but I don't trust you and I think we are better off as friends." I say while tearing up

"Fine, if that's what you want." He says but it seems like he wants to say more and he's holding back.

No apology, no sorry look in his eyes. I'm done with him.

"Goodnight Asher." I say while walking back to Cades room crying.

Cade is not out of the shower yet so I continue to let my tears flow.

"Hey Nyah you wanna suck-"he starts as he's coming out of the shower

"What's wrong with you?" He asks coming over to where I'm laying on the bed

"Nothing." I say with a pout while wiping my tears
"Nyah." He says sternly
"Asher broke my heart." I say while crying

"Oh no. Wait stop crying." He says while sitting on his bed and pulling me into his lap.

"I-I thought he lo-loved me."
"What happened?" He asks while rubbing my back.

"He slept with Robyn after I told him I liked him." I say sniffling

"I thought you liked me." He says looking confused

"No, I just wanted you because I thought you were unattainable. I wanted to give Asher my heart."

"Unattainable?"

"You only date tall white girls with long hair. I thought that you would never actually want me. I just wanted to prove that I could make you fall for me." I say to him while wiping my tears

"You just wanted to use me?"

"Yes, I'm sorry."

"It's fine I guess. I haven't always been the nicest to you anyways. Remember when I told you that I didn't want you around me and banned you from the house?" He says with a chuckle

"Yeah and the next day I snuck through your bedroom window and made you dinner while you were out. You came home with a girl and I beat her up." I say laughing a little

"Yeah that was the first time you made me shrimp and grits. Been in love with it ever since." He says while laughing

"Yeah but you kicked me out, threatened to call the cops and ate the food without me."

"In my defense you were a lot crazier 2 years ago. The day I met you, I seen you chop my sister in the throat and attempt to have sex with Asher in public. Would you actually have done that?" He asks me

"Yep behind the bleachers." I say honestly. I was wild back then

"Definitely crazy, I'm sorry he did that to you though. No one deserves heartbreak."

"I'm over it and him so let's cuddle and watch some movies." I say sitting up to turn the tv on

No sex, no kissing, no flirting. Just us watching movies enjoying each other's presence
