Ch. 40

Still Cades POV

I'm currently in Walmart trying to figure out what to get this girl as an apology gift. Honestly I'm having a hard time. Nyah is a difficult girl and if I get her something she doesn't like then she could possibly punch me in my face. She hits like a fucking man. Maybe she'll like some candy. I'm gonna call Zach cause I'm lost on what to do right now.

I call him and he answers

"Nigga what." He says to me, yeah he really doesn't like anyone except Nyah. I'm surprised he even likes my sister

"Calm down, I'm at Walmart trying to figure out what to get Nyah and I don't know what to get her." I say in a rush

"Your ass is lucky I love your sister. Look if I tell you what to get her she will know and she'll be even more mad at you. Just be spontaneous, all I can tell you is that her favorite color is yellow and she likes to eat."

"Should I get her a banana or something?"

"I'm finna hang up on your dumb ass." He says seriously, it's interesting to here him talk like this cause when he's around Nyah he's a lot more proper

"Aight imma figure something out, thanks anyways." I say and then hang up

I'm gonna buy her some candy and a card saying I'm sorry. I go get a plain yellow card and some skittles, can't go wrong with skittles, and I get her a bear that says I'm beary sorry. Yeah I think she'll like that.

I quickly check out and make my way to her apartment. Once I'm at the door I take a deep breath and knock.

"Hold on I'm coming!" She yells from the other side of the door and it sounds like she's laughing

She opens the door and I do not like what I see. It's that Asian guy in some weird position on the floor and under him is the twister game. She was playing twister with him and I look down to see that she's wearing a sports bra and some tight spandex shorts.

"CADE!" She says while snapping her fingers in my face and I look down at her and she looks like she has an attitude. Definitely still upset from earlier.

"Oh I'm sorry um can we talk?" I say while holding my Walmart bag.
"Why?"
"Please Nyah?"
"Whatever."

"Hey man can you come back later we're kinda busy." That guy says to me

"Kai go home I already won anyways." She says while laughing

"Yeah cause you seduced me by putting your ass on my crotch and made me fall."

"By any means necessary my love, by any means." She says while laughing

I know they are not flirting right in my face. I clench my jaw in anger. He needs to get the hell out

"Alright imma go but only cause I have to help my mom with something." He stands up, walks over to Nyah, gives her a bear hug, kisses her forehead and walks out but not without bumping into my shoulder. If I wasn't trying to make something up to Nyah I would punch his face

"Come in." She says with an attitude and then walks to her kitchen and gets some water

I shut her door and sit down on her couch

"What do you want Cade? I don't have all day." She says to me

"Well I wanted to apologize for earlier."
All she does is raise her eyebrows and drinks her water

"I got you some stuff." I say and then hand her the bag

First she pulls out the card and reads it out loud
