Ch. 49

"Sooo who is Rafael?" Kai asks teasing me

"Some guy that brought me my DoorDash yesterday." I smile

"Uh huh. So what's up with you and that Cade guy. He really hates me. I mean Zach doesn't like me but that guy actually hates me."

"Zach doesn't necessarily dislike you. He just doesn't care about you. Kinda like I am with most people. Also I've been spending more time with you than him lately. I had sex with Cade and now he thinks he owns me or something."

"Nyah you just have men all over you." He says with a laugh

You see that's why I like Kai. He's never judgmental and he's never angry or serious. I always have fun with him. When I'm with Zach I have to drink or be angry to have fun but with Kai it's a lot different. I appreciate him being in my life a lot. Definitely a breath of fresh air.

"You haven't seen anything yet." I say with a chuckle
" I bet." He says with his perfect smile

For the rest of the drive we just joke around and when we get to my parents house. I stop him to remind him of the one rule.

"Kai. Please remember to not be too touchy with me." I plead

"I got it Nyah. Don't worry. You met my mom you know I have manners." He smiles

Yeah his mom gets him right every time he gets out of line. I've seen her hit him with plenty of fly swatters and I've had to duck from plenty of sandals being thrown at him. I never really have to duck though cause Mei has perfect aim and she always hits him right in the chest.

"Okay, I'm pretty sure both sets of parents are in there so just beware." I say while getting out of my car.

I see Zach walking into my house with Hailey and Cade behind him. I wonder when their parents are coming.

Kai and I walk into my house and I am immediately picked up and kissed on my forehead.
"Baby girl I missed you." James says while putting me back down
"I missed you too pops." I say while hugging him tightly

"Alright break it up. Give me my daughter." My dad says and gives me a tight hug
"I missed you daddy." I say while squeezing him.

Oh yeah I am definitely a daddy's girl

"I missed you too." He says while kissing my cheek

Then someone clears their throat and I look to see it's my mama. I quickly let go and give her a hug

"Hey mommy."

"Don't mommy me. Why are your knuckles busted?" She says pulling away from the hug.

Uh oh

"Naomi chill, she just got here let her unpack before you start questioning her." My dad says

"Mhmm and who are these people y'all brought into my house." she says while looking at Cade and Kai

"Ma this is Haileys brother Cade and this is my friend Kai."

"Ain't that the guy I seen in your bed that one time?" She says

"WHAT!" Both my dad and James says at the same time

Zach busted out laughing

"Umm how about we go unpack." I say while pulling Kai up the stairs to my old room

"Well that was lovely." he says with a laugh.

"Be quiet." I say while sitting on my bed

"Nyah where am I sleeping?" He asks
