We asked Calum if he wanted to watch a movie with us but he said that he was going for a run down at the beach.
That fit bastard.
So Ashton and I decide to use the TV in the bedroom since it's just us two. He draws across the curtains to block out as much afternoon sun as possible. It's nice and toasty in the apartment, a total contrast from the winter weather outside.
Even though it's sunny, it's quite deceiving. I'm relieved to be back home and away from that dreadful medical center. That stressed me the fuck out. I'm so ready just to relax.I pull back the familiar sheets of the bed I've been sleeping in this last week. Instead of smelling like him, they now smell of me and I can't help but think as he lays in it today, his scent will hopefully rub off. Seriously, I could live off that aroma.
"Salt and vinegar chips," He holds the pink packet in his hand, closing his door on his way in.
I giggle softly as he runs up onto the bed and plonks himself down on the mattress. Fumbling with the remote, the smart TV screen illuminates allowing for the Netflix option to be selected. Clicking on his own profile as he and Calum share a Netflix account, the same movies pop up in his 'continue watching' as I last saw. One in particular that catches my eye yet again and I can't refrain from the wide grin tugging up my lips.
"What movie we watchin'?" He glances over to me making his brows furrow in confusion as to what I'm laughing about.
"What?"
"Still haven't finished fifty shades?" My voice is low, unsure of how he'd react. Either way I can't contain my smirk. "Is it too much for you?" I crack up, taking the opportunity to stir him up and get a bit cheeky.
"Shut up, I got busy-"
"Was it too intense?" I tease and cross my arms with a smug expression. "Did someone get a little too excited? Or were you scared?"
He leans back and rolls his eyes playfully as I laugh my lungs out. During this moment I seriously can't have thought of a funnier person than myself.
"I bet you couldn't even sit still!" I struggle to form a coherent sentence from my breathlessness and the small giggles interrupting my words.
"Very funny. I'd like to see you watch it and not squirm, hm? You wouldn't stand a chance." He cheekily licks his pink lips and scrolls through the movies as if he didn't say anything.
My mouth gapes open and I narrow my eyes in an attempt to think of a quick come back to shoot at him, but I have nothing. Completely speechless.
"Got you there, sweetheart," He taunts.
"Well why don't we watch it and find out then?" I state sounding confident in the moment but gulp lightly once I realize what I just put out into the open.
He gives me a brief but intimidating side eye glance.
"Is that a challenge?"
"I guess it is." I rest my back against the headboard and keep my head smug and high.
If I'm following through with this, I may as well seem confident. And thinking about it, I have an advantage here, I've watched it all so I know what to expect and he's only watched half.
"Let's start from the beginning shall we?"

Both of our body's are lying beneath the covers, eyes attached to the movie on the screen. His arm has made it around my waist, pulling me in close to his side. I rest my head on his chest, making me notice the occasional deep breaths at points throughout the movie.
