Taylor: Goodluck on your interview, Aveee!
Avery had checked her phone’s notifications to see the singer's text. She replied quickly, thanking her before putting her phone in the pocket of her clothes.
It's been a few days since she had last seen Taylor, the last time she had seen her was at the bar with all her friends but after that they mostly just text each other there and then. Avery didn't mind it, In fact she has been getting a lot of ‘lessons’ on how to not be so dry of a texter to Taylor Swift by her best friend Pierre almost everyday whenever he's around the brunette's apartment.
“You good?”
“Yep, I'm good.” She says smiling at Catty who was standing right beside her, as she was waiting to be called over by some interviewer she had forgotten the name.
Catty then walked over to Avery, fixing her hair and putting the strands right by her ears.
She didn't know what the woman who was the interviewer would ask, but it was approved by her publicist. So she has nothing to worry about, right? Plus it's gonna be pre-recorded.
“Don't worry, all the questions are okay, I wouldn't approve of them if they weren't.” Catty said, seeing right through the brunette who was obviously nervous. “And I'm sure you can answer them alright.” She said, patting Avery's shoulders.
The actress always had seen her publicist as her own older sister she never had, Catty was something more than a publicist to her. She was one of the people who motivated her to keep going and she appreciates it a lot. She was one of the reasons why she was even in the acting industry in the first place. So Avery thanked everything that Catty had done to her.
“Let's Welcome Avery Bexley Everyone!” The woman said as the small crowd cheered along.
Avery entered with a smile on her face, waving at the audience while she walked to the chair.
“Hi, Avery! Wow, it's nice having you here.” The woman said with a welcoming tone as she offered Avery a hand to shake over the desk
The brunette shakes the interviewer's hand before saying anything.
“Well, thank you for inviting me!” She says smiling.
The interview was okay, she explained about the trailer for the series “The Other Maiden.” where she was casted as Aurelia who was the affair of a married woman Clementine had formed a romantic relationship and their struggles on how they'll hide their affection for each other in the public. She can't spoil anything that much anyway since they're not even halfway through the filming of the first season.
“One last question, and I know everyone here is dying to know. Are you still single?” The older woman said, raising one of her eyebrows as she looked at Avery.
“Oh, well. Unfortunately, I'm still very much single.” She says in a playful way while chuckling.
The interviewer was quite surprised by the actress's answer, she didn't know if she would take that as a compliment or not.
“Oh my! That's quite shocking, Avery. I'm sure a lot of guys will slide into your dms!”
She just laughs, knowing the only boy who was in her dms was either Pierre or Ajax.
The interview came to an end and she was finally able to go home to her cat. Once she was in her cab, Her publicist by her side. Her phone lights up, getting a notification from the American singer.
Taylor: Bro! You gotta go to Rome, it's so fucking AMAZING.
She laughs, before clicking at Taylor's text. Catty was sneaking peeks at the brunette's phone. Her publicist was curious why she had been on her phone more these days. Avery used to complain about how to even text her properly without misspelling every word.
Taylor proceeded to send a few selfies from her day, some of them with Tom Hiddleston in the background. Some of them were the food she ate and some were her posing in front of a sculpture.
Avery: Once i get the chance to, I'll go.
The actress replied back at Taylor before closing her phone and putting it back on her small bag.
“Taylor Swift, huh?” Catty said with a smug face. Wanting to tease brunettes.
“Mhm, she's really nice and a cool friend.” She nodded at the older woman, she liked Taylor a lot. Platonically, of course.
“Her publicist, Tree Paine, is much cooler.” Her publicist said playfully arguing with Avery.
She rolled her eyes sarcastically at Catty’s comment and the blonde woman just laughed at Avery's reaction.
“Yeah okay, fangirl.”
Catty had heard all the tea from Pierre a few weeks earlier. She can say that from all the information she got from the brunette's best friend. Taylor was definitely gonna be something more than friends to Avery, and she was definitely ready for it.

“Let me guess what you're doing right now.”
“Go ahead.” Taylor said, chuckling.
“You’re clearly watching another movie that Avery only had a small part in.” Selena teased her best friend.
But it's not like Taylor's gonna deny it. She had to rewatch Harry Potter again, just because Pierre had told her that Avery had a scene in it where she was sitting close to Daniel Radcliffe in the tables.
She was convinced that every British kid was in one of the Harry Potter movies.
“You're not half wrong, but c'mon! It's Harry Potter. Y'know I love that movie.” Taylor said in her defense, she did love the book and the movie.
“Sure, sure.” Selena said totally not convinced over the other line.
Tom was already sleeping in the hotel bedroom, while she was sitting on the small couch and her earphones on, while her laptop and phone were resting in her lap.
“You should be enjoying Rome with your boyfriend right now! And yet you're sitting in your hotel watching movies on your laptop.” Her best friend said on the phone.
“Objection. First of all, it's 1 am in Italy, so where the hell am i gonna go? And second of all, he's not my boyfriend for the last time!” She said, rolling her eyes while Selena just laughed.
After a minute Selena excuses herself to her best friend to sleep as she have to wake up early because of something in hee schedule.
Taylor didn't mind since she was busy watching a movie on her laptop, she would pause in every scene where she had spotted some kid that looked like Avery, just to be wrong every time and she had to message Pierre to ask what was the exact time and scene where Avery was in.
Pierre was teasing Taylor at first but she offered him to baby sit her cat once she was back at New York, and that seems to do the trick.

I wanna make the chapters maybe 8k words longer, but that'll take me too long to update the chapters...
Maybe I'll do it once I'm finished with this book since i already got a new idea once this is done! Not spoiling anything tho...
