Again, Taylor couldn't be happier.

Avery's family was welcoming, Warren showed her around the farm as she also told the older man about her growing up in a Christmas tree farm. Warren was delightful to hear until Avery crept up behind the two of them and tagged along. Cora was lovely, Taylor would find herself chit-chatting with her during their stay there in London about Avery when she was a kid, showing more baby pictures and some videos of her playing piano. Cora would even teach Taylor some of her recipes and Avery was shocked her mom shared that to her girlfriend rather than her own daughter.

Johnathan did come along later that night in Christmas, at first he didn't believe that Taylor Swift was sitting on their dinner table, but when Avery introduced her as her own girlfriend, it all made sense that Maddie was talking about some Taylor when they went back from his business trip in New York.

Overall, Avery was just happy that her family was so sweet to Taylor despite only meeting her this Christmas.

More hikes were planned out during December, as it became a weekly habit of the couple. More scrabble games were played as Taylor continued to be competitive with the actress Polaroid pictures were made as it was added to the brunette's collection, Taylor would wonder how many films Avery had used up already.

The blonde singer decided to make another record and return to music, she got a few song ideas and some of them had voice memos on her phone when it was September. Most of them are about Avery being amazing, but can you really blame Taylor?

Later that December. Taylor hosted a New Years Party in the Holiday House in Rhode island. It was just most of her friends since Andrea and Scott had other plans and it was okay since they got to eat Thanksgiving together. Avery spending time with Taylor on New Year's was okay too with her family. Eventually, Pierre got back from Canada and seemingly got a new puppy with him. Taylor was in awe when Pierre brought the dog with him earlier despite Taylor being a full on Millennial cat lady.

“I think Taylor likes your dog.” Avery whispered ro Pierre, chuckling lightly.

“Yeah, it was fun having him for three days though. Taylor can have him.” Pierre replied as they both laughed while Taylor continued to carry the puppy around and baby talk while the cats were just too tired to even put up with the tiny dog in the hands of their owner.

Later on, Gigi, Blake, Ryan, Karlie, Selena and the others arrived with their shiny dresses but not too fancy as some brought bottles of champagne and the other foods. Austin did arrive and suddenly Avery wasn't Pierre's buddy anymore as they go on and do more toddler stuff as Taylor described, leaving the dog to Taylor.

“Since when did he suddenly replace me for your brother?” The actress asked Taylor sarcastically as Taylor snorted before greeting her other friends around.

Pierre almost hyperventilated when he saw Zayn. Avery could only laugh and agreed to take a picture of her best friend and Zayn that was pretty cool with it.

They mostly all waited for the clock to turn midnight as they drank and some played a game of monopoly with Ryan being the banker. Pierre was the first one out after being bankrupt because he landed in all properties by Gigi and the model felt so bad and funny at the same time. The second was Taylor after buying too many houses on one property, then Blake was next until Avery eventually won the entire thing.

It was no surprise for Taylor, she noticed that Avery is really good with board games.

Taylor and Avery would steal glances at each other every now and then and would hold hands in dark rooms while the other got busy with their own businesses. Avery even got bold sometimes and would kiss Taylor quickly and the blonde would freeze, one time Ryan looked at Taylor who was all red as Avery was acting innocent as she tried out one of the cupcakes on the table beside them.
