When Avery was working out at the gym below her flat, she had been there for quite some time as the actress thought she hadn't gone to the gym for a few months because of her schedule and it was nice to get her flow back.
She hadn't heard from the specific blonde for almost 3 days and she was close enough into thinking that she did something wrong again to make Taylor ghost her or something but that's when she heard her phone ringing from her bag.
Avery stopped the treadmill machine as she walked to her bag and opened it to try and reach for her phone.
“Hello?” She says as the brunette wiped the sweat off her forehead from running.
“You look ike you need a break.” The moment she heard the familiar voice, she already knew who she was as Avery let out a chuckle and asked confused.
“Yeah, why do you say so?” Avery asked as she tries to grab the water bottle below the bench.
“Turn Around, Ave.” Taylor says before Avery turned her head around to find Taylor at the entrance of the gym wearing her glasses while holding her phone and the other a small bag.
“Hi.” The singer said on the phone while Avery cracked a smile on her face as she hung up the call.
Taylor walked to Avery as the brunette laughed.
“How long have you been there?” Avery asked curiously.
“Long enough until you still haven't noticed me when I pass by the big glass window in front of you while you run on that treadmill.” Taylor said as she placed the paper bag on the floor as she sat on the bench next to Avery.
“You do know I smell like rubbish right now, right?” The brunette said, looking at Taylor. She smells like vanilla which Avery assumes that was her perfume.
“Mhm.” Taylor just hummed and tried to pick up something from the small bag below her.
“So why are you sitting next to me when I look like I ran a marathon?” Avery asked and Taylor just laughed.
“Does that matter? I don't really care anyways because dude I can't even smell anything right now.” Taylor said, looking at the actress beside her.
“Your nose is probably blocked, that's why.” Avery joked as she laughed while Taylor rolled her eyes.
“I baked more last night, and there were some extra…Spencer isn't coming back until next Friday so I didn't have someone else to try them for me. I was actually going to your place when I saw you here.” Taylor said, offering a small box with some cute designs on it.
Lies, Taylor said to herself. She did have someone to try them on, probably her other securities like Mark or John, but Taylor just really wanted Avery's opinion and was committed to making the brunette a sweet tooth with all her baking.
“You want me to try this now or…?” The actress said opening the box to find a cake that has blue frosting around it, covering the top of the cake as the inside was revealed to be chocolate flavored.
“No, you can try it later if you want to.” The blonde said smiling as Avery closed the box and put it in her bag with her phone.
“I'll try it later, do you wanna come with me? I'm heading back to my apartment, since that's where you were heading right?” Avery said, standing up while she picked up her bag.
Taylor smiles as she grabs the paper bag and nods.
“Yep!” She says excitedly.
They walked side by side on the pavement to Avery's apartment that was just a street away. No one seems to notice them since first of all, Taylor was wearing her glasses which Taylor explained how people don't oftenly notice that it's her whenever she wears them, which Avery thought was stupid and people are just not paying attention too much or maybe it was the result of the brunette staring at Taylor's face too much she knows it's her from a mile away.
“Oh my god I can finally see Robin again!” Taylor squealed in excitement of seeing the shorter women's fluff ball again since the last time she had set foot on Avery's apartment.
Avery just chuckled as the elevator doors opened when they reached the third floor of the building.
She opened the door and immediately Robin was peeking on the creek of it as Taylor was in awe, quickly placing down the things she had in her hands just to pick up the cat at Robin lets the singer
Wow. Her cat didn't even allow her to be playful with her unless she gave her a concerning amount of cat food in her bowl to let Avery carry her around like that.
“You're so adorable.” Taylor said to the cat that was on her arms as she gave her a few strokes as Avery went to another room.
“You're so adorable like your owner.” The blonde whispered before she giggled as Robin was purring cutely in her arms.
When Avery saw that cute moment she went back to her room in a flash and grabbed the polaroid camera on her desk before returning to Taylor who was standing while having the orange feline in her arms, carrying her cat like it's a human baby.
Avery didn't even called out Taylor's name or Robin's as she already clicked to capture them both, making a flash towards Taylor's direction which caught her off guard and made Robin jump off.
“Hey!” Taylor said as Avery waited for the picture to print out.
“What?” Avery asked with a grin on her face while Taylor glared at her.
“You made Robin jump off! She was purring.” Taylor said, acting annoyed at the brunette for taking a picture as she hides her blush.
Avery took out the polaroid picture and waved it around to make it develop quicker.
“Look! You look cute though. Plus you can pick her up anytime, if she allows you.” The shorter woman said to Taylor as she showed her the picture.
Taylor was looking down at Robin as she pets her in her arms. It looked cute, Avery thought.
“Whatever. Try the cake already!” The blonde said, her face was already red and she was trying to hide it while Avery was teasing her.
Avery laughed before placing the camera and picture down on the table before heading to her bag and grabbed the box Taylor had given her that contained the chocolate cake.
The two sat down next to each other on the small table in Avery's kitchen.
“You're not trying to kill me, right?” Avery asked jokingly before she took a bite of the cake.
Taylor rolled her eyes before responding to Avery's joke
“I will if you keep asking that every time I give you something I made.”

AND ALSO I'M THINKING OFF PUBLISHING A ONE SHOT! IT'LL BE STORIES THAT'S BASED ON TAYLOR'S SONG LIKE COWBOY LIKE ME OR TIMELESS. IT'S STILL A DRAFT BY NOW IDK IF I WILL ACTUALLY PUBLISH IT HERE... I'M HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS BUT HER WHO KNOWS I MIGHT UPLOAD IT ON A RANDOM DAY.
BUT ANYWAYS! HAVE A GOOD DAY AND EAT THREE TIMES A DAY OR MORE AND DRINK ENOUGH WATER...
