It's been days since Taylor last texted Avery. Not because she was mad at her or something, it's just she just needed time for these dumb and stupid feelings she's feeling for the younger woman, so she had figured ignoring her would be for the best, but every decision has consequences. Taylor had to stop herself from calling the brunette girl and to tell her all the things that she had watched and read in her own condo in LA. She had to fight the urge to text Avery goodnight and good morning, and she also had to stop herself from picking up her phone whenever a notification from Avery came up on the bar of her lock Screen.

Maybe she was overreacting about everything she had been doing but ignoring the actress was one of the hardest things she had ever done and not acknowledging the fact that Avery almost texted her everyday, asking how her day was. She felt bad, really really bad for not replying, but it was for their friendship's sake.

Luckily Selena was in the same City as her best friend, so Taylor was still pretty much sane thanks to her best friend. Although she had asked a few questions about Avery to Taylor, but none of them that she can't handle.

“Tom is busy, huh?” The shorter asked Tayloe who was comfortably reading the novel she had bought from the airport.

“Yeah…he's in New York. He said they have to get back to filming the Marvel movie he's in.” She responded flatly, keeping her eyes on the book while Selena sat right next to her.

Selena had been observing her best friend for the past few days, and she was definitely noticing how the blonde would either ignore or say quick and short answers whenever the question revolved around a familiar brunette.

“Isn't Avery in New York too?” She says, looking at her best friend who quickly fixed her posture and cleared her throat before answering.

“Uh- yeah, I think she is. Yeah...Why did you ask?” Taylor said, quite in a panic or whatever she was stuttering about, knowing that Avery was definitely in New York City too.

"Nothing." Selena said.

Taylor just nodded confused as she turned her head on the book, while Selena looked away for a moment before confronting Taylor for something she had been suspicious about.

“Do you have a crush on Avery?” Selene said, looking quickly at Taylor who was fast at reacting.

“N- No! What are you saying?” Taylor responded stuttering a little bit, shocked how sudden the question was.

“Oh come on, Tay! It's so obvious! I've seen how you act around each other!” She said looking at Taylor while she laughed a bit from the singer's expression when she asked.

“You're out of your mind, Selena. Me and Avery are just friends, nothing more. Plus she's probably straight as a ruler can get!” Taylor says before rolling her eyes and distracting herself at the book she's currently reading.

“I'm not out of my mind! I saw what I saw okay? First of all can we just think about how she helped you clean out the whole Holiday House after the party, and also helped you again clean at the beach? Dude! I'm your best friend and I didn't even help you with any of the cleaning! Secondly, you can't just assume she's straight!” The shorter girl said to Taylor.

“Well, she's not lazy like the rest of you so that's why she helped me...and you can't just also assume someone's not straight, Sel.” She shot back a response to Selena, glaring at her..

“Yeah, okay.” Selena said sarcastically before continuing her sentence. “Both of these eyes had seen how you looked at her! I've seen that look before and it was definitely the same look you gave Ha-” Selena was cut off by Taylor's hand covering her mouth.
