Sick Cousin

"Bestie!" A loud voice of Ningning, unwillingly tilted my head in her direction. My morning was not that good, I am having my period resulting in me feeling so off today.

She ceased in front of me as I sent her a 'what' look not verbalizing a thing.

"Oh, period?" She asked me and I just nodded.

"That suck, here we go again. I hope you can stop yourself from turning —you know " She chuckled as we walked towards the hallway.

She's talking about me being so moody. Who doesn't, right? Girls are pretty much aware of this for sure.

When we both reached our lockers, I instantly pulled out the needed books for my class and locked it when another two different voices echoed in the hallway calling out my name.

"Karina!"

"Wow! I think my name is in demand today." I mumbled to myself letting out a sigh.

When I turned around, I saw Chaeryeong and Yuna approaching me.

"Hi, Karina. Good morning." The two greeted in unison trying to hide their shyness.

"Ohh, hi. Nice to see you both, how are you two doing?" I asked while clasping my books in front feeling so guilty for being a little bit rude a second ago.

"We're doing good, thanks for asking." Yuna replied.

"That's great! Anyway, I want you to meet my best friend, Ningning." I introduced yanking my best friend beside me earning a soft growl from her.

"Hi." Ningning said shortly.

"Hello! We know you, as well as Somi and Seulgi." Chaeryeong answered smiling radiantly to Ningning.

"Everyone knows your group even before Winter comes, you are well known." Yuna added making me and Ningning feel a bit awkward because we don't know what other students were talking about us.

"I see. So, what are they saying about us? Something bad?" Ningning pries sound innocent.

Yuna and Chaeryeong shook their heads and said, "No. Actually, it's the contrary. Your group is really cool. With a bunch of beauties and brains, talents and power!" Chaeryeong said making me blush on how she is so straightforward.

"Wow! I think you two are going to be my best friends as well!" Ningning exclaimed hugging the two freshmen gals.

"That's enough, Ningning. You're choking the girls." Another voice came out revealing themselves Somi and Seulgi.

And with the presence of all of my best friends and me, Chaeryeong and Yuna somewhat feel uncomfortable as they both tightly hug the books they're carrying in front.

Somi who is standing in between the two put her arms on their shoulders giving them her sweetest smile.

"Don't worry, we don't bite." Seulgi said genuinely smiling as she bent down a little to take a better look at their faces.

"We're not bitches, okay? That's why we are best friends of our holiness over there." Seulgi added pointing her finger to where I am standing.

"Hey, I'm not!" I growl as I roll my eyes to Seulgi resulting in them laughing.

"Then you believe us now?" Somi asked the two holding their chins with her pointing fingers as she eyed them simultaneously.

"Believe in Karina being the holiness or that you don't bite?" Yuna teased earning soft laughs from my best friends and another growl from me.
