Chapter 5

They landed in Mexico safely. The weather in this place is different from El Salvador. It is much colder than they expected. Michelle wasn't ready for this and she starting to feel not good in herself. She might get sick if her body can't adjust quickly to the weather.

After they landed, they checked in a hotel organized by Miss Universe Team. And to Michelle, it was like an answered prayer because Anntonia will be her roommate this time. Same with Anntonia she was very happy that her roommie is Michelle who is her support system and companion in the entire pageant. They will be more closer to each other. No more ninja moves in going to each other rooms just to comfort each other. After the briefing about the rooms, roommates and the first activity for tomorrow morning, they went to their assigned room to rest and call it a day.

"Are you happy mommy that we are truly roommates now?" Michelle asked.

You can see in her face how happy she is with the situation.

Anntonia replied and pretend she doesn't like it but it's a joke "Do I have a choice dadee? And if I do, I will still choose you as my roommie".

She saw Michelle a little sad about what I said first but her facial expression changed that makes her smile na when I said that I will still choose her no matter what and that's what I wanted in the first place.

"I think this is our room mommy," declared by Michelle when they already arrive in front of the door.

"Yes, it is dadee. Room 214", confirmed by Anntonia.

Since Anntonia has the keys to their room, she opened it while Michelle holds their bags and luggages. They went inside and directly put aside their things. They jumped together in their bed feeling so tired for the travel. They laugh when they saw what they did and it seems their minds are connected because they did the same. They ended up looking each other..."Mommy..." Michelle said seriously and it feels like she want to say more. "Dadee.." sweetly said by Anntonia in a low tone voice and telling Michelle she want to listen whatever that she wants to say. But she take a deep audible breath to control her emotions. And just said to Anntonia "Nothing mommy...", and directly kiss her forehead to close the conversation.

Replying to her kiss I just hug her. "Let's rest first dear ok and we will do anything after", Michelle continued and close her eyes slowly.

So she followed what she said because that what they need now.

It was 5:30 p.m. and time to have their dinner at the reception of the hotel. Michelle woke up first. She saw Anntonia's pretty face sleeping comfortably in her arms. She remains staring at her for a while enjoying the beautiful view in front of her. Telling to herself.

"Ang swerte ng boyfriend nito na may mala anghel na mukha pati na ugali", sa isip niya.

"Kapag ito sinaktan ng bf niya nako siguradong basag ang mukha nun sa akin", dagdag niya sa kanya iniisip.

And she promised to herself na before they will separate ways going to their own country. I will confess my feelings to her and no secret feelings will remain in my heart for her. Atleast in that way, I will be relief on how I feel towards her. Though the sad part that I know she doesn't have the same feelings with mine for her maybe we are just closed friends like my besties in the Philippines. I have a lot of bff in my country but Anntonia really captures my heart and there is something from her na di ko nafeel sa mga bffs ko. Haizzztt... kung wala lang siyang boyfriend simula pa lang ng makilala ko siya, I will really court her from the start. Pero meron eh kaya, control and limit lang ako sa nararamdaman ko ngayon sa kanya.

Then she decided to wake up Anntonia. "Mommy... my cute angel wake up now...", she sweetly whispered to her ears.

"Mommy wake up or I'll kiss you", teasingly said by Michelle.

So Anntonia slowly opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was the cute smile and eyes of Michelle. "Hmmmm... dadee?..", inaantok pang reply ni Anntonia.

"Let's prepare ourselves na for our dinner downstairs". sinabi ni Michelle sabay bumangon kasama niya sa pagbangon si Anntonia.

Inalalayan niya ito dahil parang gusto pag matulog ulit. Nagising na ng tuluyan si Anntonia sa ginawa niya at sinabi niyang "I'll go first in the bathroom dadee".

"Ok go now mommy, I'll wait for my turn".

Thirty minutes after lumabas din ito ng banyo na naka bathrobe. She smell the freshness and fragrance of her from a far that in her mind she want to land some kisses on her cheeks but ofcourse she controls herself at sinabi nalang niyang "My turn now and you should get dressed na mommy".

"Yes dadee, I will", replied by Anntonia.

Mabilis lang maligo si Michelle kaya after minutes lumabas na din ito ng banyo na naka bathrobe. At tiningnan ito ni Anntonia sabay sa isip "That flawless skin of hers and the chinita eyes attracts her much".

I really admire Michelle skin and her perfect eyes.

"Ready na ba ang mommy ko", sabay putol ni Michelle sa kanyang iniisip.

"Almost there dadee, you get dress now", she just said while looking back in the mirror.

At tapos na nga silang dalawa at sila ay sabay ng bumaba sa hotel para kumain ng dinner kasama ang iba pang delegates. Naabutan nila sa baba ang may ari ng Miss Universe na si Miss Anne at iba pang delegates sa mahabang mesa. Sila naman ni Anntonia ay humanap ng bakanteng upuan para sumabay kumain sa kanilang kasamahan.

Masaya ang lahat habang kumakain at ang iba ay tapos na ng biglang nagsalita si Miss Anne for tomorrow's activity.

"We will be having a pictorial and event interview from one of the famous shows here in Mexico tomorrow ladies. So be beautiful as always for tomorrow and have a night rest now. Good night everyone", she said and that's the way she told here goodbye for tonight to the Miss Universe ladies in the restaurant.

"Shall we go now mommy to our room?", Michelle whisper the question to Anntonia's ear.

So she look at her and replied "Ok sure dadee!"
Michelle look at the other ladies and excused theirselves.

"We have to go now ladies. See you tomorrow morning. Bye". She waved to all of them and also Anntonia did the same with a smile.
