Chapter 7

Early in the morning.... The annoying alarm of Michelle wakes up Anntonia so irritating to the ears... She looks for her cellphone to see the time, it is 6:00 am in the morning. There appointment will be around 9:00 am. She look at Michelle who is still sleeping and it's seem she was not bothered by her alarm. Nakabalot ang katawan nito ng kumot. The temperature is normal naman. The coldness of the aircon just fine for her. When she touches her head, she feels the hotness in her. She tries to wake her up.

"Dadee.... Are you ok?", asked and worried about her.

Umungol lang ito sa kanya. That makes it worse. I need to wake her up. She tried to call her again "Dadeee, dadee wake up..."

She slowly open her cute chinita eyes. "Hmmm, mommy.. Nilalamig ako.." sabi nito.

She didn't understand what she said but through her actions it says she feels cold. Bigla siyang napabangon at kinuha ang kanyang medicine pouch para mabigyan ng gamot si Michelle kung ano man ang nararamdaman nito ngayon.

She gets her digital thermometer and put it slowly in the armpit of Michelle to check her temperature while she is still sleeping. It's good she brought her medicine pouch always in case of emergency. After few minutes, she gets the thermometer and the result of her temperature is 38.8°C. My God she has a fever... I need to wake her up to give her medicine.

"Dadee, you need to wake up. You have fever", she whispered to her ear.

She feels really hot and also her breathing. Again, Michelle just growl.

Anntonia got some paracetamol and water for Michelle to drink and take it to reduce her fever. So she slowly assist Michelle to half sit.

"You need to drink this dadee," said Anntonia. Like a child, Michelle follows the order of her. And went back to sleep after she finished taking the medicine.

Hindi na nakabalik sa pagtulog si Anntonia. Binantayan nalang niya si Michelle na may halong pag alala dito. She knows nakakapanibago ang panahon dito sa Mexico kaya siguro nagkasakit ito. Habang natutulog ito napaisip si Anntonia. She looks like a baby angel while sleeping. With her short hair, chinita eyes, pointed nose and those lips of her which I know are so soft to kiss.. God she is the combination of handsome and beautiful creature I ever saw. I never deeply looked at a person like this especially Irfan. I admit my boyfriend is handsome but Michelle is quite really different.. She is really special and one of a kind maybe that's the reason why she have lots of best
friends. She slowly touches her faces and feel her warm. She can't help herself looking at her like this. When her phone rings, it says Irfan is calling. Ang ganda naman ng timing ng isang to. Sinagot niya ang tawag.

"Hello love, good morning! How's everything there? You didn't update me yet." May pagtatampong sabi nito sa kabilang linya.

"Oh sorry Irfan, I just got so busy here. But I'm fine. Thanks", replied to him.

She slowly stand up to the bed and walk close to the window so that she can't disturb Michelle from sleeping.

"Where is the "love" there love? Why calling me my name? Is everything alright?", he asked curiously about sudden changes from her.

"I think yes everything is alright here. I will talk to you when I go back home there. I need to go. Bye Irfan", madaling sabi niya sa kabila.

"Ok love. Bye. Take care and see you soon." hirit na sabi ni Irfan sa kabila. And that ends their call.

I want to tell everything to Irfan. The feeling I have for him and to Michelle. I want to be honest to both of them. Maybe after this tour here in Mexico, I will confess to Michelle first before I go home to my country. And I fix my relationship with Irfan which I think doesn't work anymore. Honestly for three years in a relationship with him, everything was changed since I entered pageantry from Miss Supra to Miss Universe. We do casual dates but it's like there is no more spark when we go together for a date. It looks like casual thing nothing important. Then, I noticed when I enter this career that he never supported me because of this and that. He have many reasons. And to the point, we have deep fight about it. Then after that when he know my decision it can never be changed, he looks so clingy to me that he never did when I'm not yet in the pageantry world.
