Chapter 33

The next morning....

Anntonia's POV:
She was lack of sleep because the whole night her mind was preoccupied about Michelle, the new CEO of DGC, her one and only love. She saw everything in the news and social media about her. Destiny really works on them again. They will surely cross paths again and we are soon to be partners in business. I'm nervous for the time that we will see each other again. What could be her reaction towards me being their business partner? Will she be mad at me after everything that happened to us before? Does she still have feelings for me? "C'mon Anntonia after what you did" saying to herself. Her mind and soul was interrupted when her mom calls her.

"Baby, are you okay? It seems your food never been eaten yet," asked by her mom wondering what she is thinking so deep. Her dad was just looking at her. I know her dad already knew about the news yesterday. He was just observing my actions. "Do you need help in your work dear?" seriously asked by her father.

"I'm sorry mom. Something is bothering me. Thanks Dad but I can handle it." She said to her parents and put a little smile on her face to convince them that she is okay.

"Ok dear, if you can't handle it, just don't hesitate to call me and I will help you." Assurance from her dad that anything happens that she can't control anymore he is always there for me.

"I love you dad and mom. I have to go now to the office." She stoop up and kiss her parents goodbye then she leaves the house.

In the office....

Her secretary approach her when she is about to enter her office. "Good morning Miss Ann, an important email was sent to you from MUPH. It is an invitation if you would like to be one of the judges in the coronation day. As you remember it before, you agreed in advance to be part of it. It will be two weeks from now Miss Ann," said by him waiting for her response.

"Is my schedule next week to meet the new CEO of DGC fixed already? Have you heard the news?." Suddenly asked by her not yet responding to her secretary about the invitation.

"Yes Miss Ann, will everything be ok with you and Michelle being business partners? And your flight with Miss Chatnalin will be on Wednesday next week and you both will be home on Saturday." Confirmed by her secretary.

"When will be the coronation of MUPH 2024?" asked again by her without answering the question of him. Because I'll better be ok for our business and Michelle seems to be professional in terms of business like she always do.

"It will be on Tuesday evening next next week," said by her secretary.

"Ok. I want you to move my flight going back to Thailand then after the MUPH Coronation Day. Send my approval to their invitation since it was already settled before. Check my schedules for next and other week to come. Also ask Nalin if she wants to stay longer with me there in PH," she said to her secretary her decision about her flight to Philippines.

"Ok Miss Ann noted. I'll inform Chatnalin about it and will tell you her decision later." said by him and waiting for her to dismissed him.

"Thanks, and please I need coffee. The Black one," she said to him. If she drinks black coffee, it relaxes her mind or anything that bother her and it can keep her working properly.

"Ok right away Miss Ann gonna make your black coffee," and her secretary went outside. She was left there sitting in her swivel chair thinking it will be a long stay then in the Philippines soon. I hope everything will be just perfectly fine...

Michelle's POV:
She was early in her office because she don't want to be late in her first day of service as the new CEO of DGC. Well, she really wakes up early naman because someones said it is for banking hours. Tulad niya maaga din gumising si Abe. Nagpaalam ito sa kanya na he will be flying to Thailand today for some endorsement. At sino ba naman siya para pigilan ito sumunod sa yapak ko na magmodelling eh. Kaya go Abe! It was one hour advance for the official time. She went straight to her office. Her secretary Lexa didn't arrive yet. Her mind running some thoughts after she sat down on her chair. This is it! Time to work seriously for the future. And what a coincidence or shall I say destiny for me and Anntonia to cross each others path again. Am I ready to face her? I hated her for because of what happened to us before. Am I ready to forgive her? Will she say sorry to me? Will she ask me what really happened before? Or does she move on already about us? Move on?? C'mon you both were not officially in a relationship. Yeah right... She took a deep breath until someone knock on my door.
