The Princess and the king arrived at the palace safely, Becky was still worried about the people that may have suffered injuries due to the blast, she felt relieved when her father informed her that he had ordered his guards to bring the injured people here so they could be treated by the royal family's doctor himself.

He had also arranged the quarters for people to stay in until they got better, he would also allow their family members to visit them in person twice a week.

" Would it be successful ? You weren't able to finish what you wanted to announce ". The ministers showed their concern regarding the policy, not regarding the safety of the royal family and the crowd.

" I think we should focus more on the fact that somebody almost tried to kill us ". Becky muttered, her father heard her perfectly fine, he curtly nodded at her, telling her to give him privacy with the ministers so he could settle the matter.

" Well I know I wasn't able to finish what I wanted to announce but I think people got my message, we should right now focus on the injured people, we will discuss this matter afterwards ". The king dismissed his minister after saying this, the minister nodded, understanding what the king meant.

" Next time, try to put things in a nicer way, you are going to be the queen ". The king said to her daughter as they walked side by side, Becky hung her head low and nodded to her father's words.

" Do you know what was the reason ? ". The princess asked her father, she wasn't really sure why would someone try to kill the royal family and common people along with them. " The war changed everyone, dear, I am well aware that some people are against my rule that's why I want you to take the throne as soon as you can and as soon as you are ready ". The things became more clear for the princess, she now knew why her father was pressuring her to learn things from him and try to get used to her duties.

" How many were injured ? ". The king asked the Princess's guard, Liam, he had the data of the people brought to the palace for their treatment. " 17 people, it is a good thing that their injuries are not severe, the doctor is confident that all of them will make out of it alive but the recovery will take time ". Liam answered the king as he bowed down, the king dismissed the guard.

" You should take rest, Becky, we had a long day ". The king turned to his daughter as he said this, he could sense that the princess was a little shaken up after the attack. " I will see you and mother at dinner, father ". With that Princess left after bowing in front of the king.

" Rebecca ? ". The king called out her daughter's name when she was about to disappear from his sight, the princess to face her father, her father rarely called her by full name.

" I am proud of you, you did a great job today, Someday you will become a great queen and even a better leader than me ". The king complimented his daughter but somehow Becky wasn't pleased with it, this made her worried about the future more, she had to prove that her father was right about her.

Becky nodded and left her father alone, the king had seen his daughter's potential and was surprised that she cared and thought about the kingdom's people before herself. He had seen the hesitation in Becky's eyes when she was asked to leave the village before the injured, she was reluctant but understood that her safety was important too, for the future of the kingdom.
