It has been over a week, a week since Freen and her troops were taken away from the kingdom. The death knights just disappeared without achieving their goals, it was like they were ordered to leave, Freen remembers seeing the fear inside the leader's eyes when they ran away.

" Are we allowed to leave ? ". The leader's right hand asked him, the conversation was easy for Freen to hear as her chain was in the hands of the leader of the death knights, the leader ticked his tongue and nodded. " The money cant be greater than our own lives ". The leader stated and the man by his side just nodded, Freen glanced back at her team which was being dragged like dogs, they had no shoes on their feet and it was not like the leader and the soldiers of the death knights even cared that much.

" What are we going to do with these assholes ? ". The right man asked, the leader chuckled and glanced at Freen, he tightened his hold on Freen's chain and pulled at it, Freen winced in pain but didn't beg for it to be over. " They still have a sense of pride left even after losing, few months in the cell will do and if they don't change, we already need a lot of people for cleaning and cooking, they should be honored to serve us ". The leader said aloud, allowing the people at the back to hear it.

Few months in a cell ?

They were already walking for a week, the leader didn't even care to give Freen and her troops water and food, it was a blessing by god that they were graced by rain a few days back, they opened their mouth the whole time they walked just so their body could get the water it needed. Freen was pretty sure that they would leave them to die in the middle of nowhere if they passed out from exhaustion or dehydration.

" We should rest for the night, at first light we should be by the headquarters ". The leader stated, his men got down their horses and prepared for a shed for the night, just like every other night, Freen and her troops were tied to a tree and left in the cold without a cover or a fire.

" What are we thinking ? ". Lisa whispered, she wanted to know if anyone thought about a plan to escape because that's all she could think of right now, she wanted to escape. " What are you thinking ? ". Noey directed her question directly towards Freen, wanting to hear what their captain, their leader had to say.

" I know that all of you must be thinking of finding a way to escape but it would be not wise to do that right now ". Freen sighed as she admitted that there was no way they should try to escape. " Are you fucking crazy bitch ? Do you want all of us to die ? ". Aster mumbled, she was way too scared to even think about staying here, even if she didn't know the way back, it doesn't mean she wouldn't try to be free.

" Aster.... ". Sulax warned her about her tone, she was the one tied beside her, Aster rolled her eyes, Sulax's warning meant nothing to her. " Don't tell me that all of you are going to listen to her ? Aren't we all in this place because of her ? She isn't our leader anymore, we are at liberty to take our own decisions, didn't she lose the status of our leader when all of this happened ? ". Aster argued, however, there were a lot of people who didn't side with her, she still gained a little appraisal with her words from the men who thought Freen wasn't capable enough. Everyone needed someone to put the blame on, Freen seemed like the right choice for their outlet, some even started whispering amongst each other.

" Enough ! ". Noey whispered yelled at everyone, she won't allow everyone to turn against each other because of the situation, Noey's blood had stopped flowing as Sulax gave her a handkerchief to tie around her hand to temporarily stop the bleeding and prevent the area from getting infected.

" You are right, Aster, I am not your leader in this situation, I am a slave like the rest of you, however, when I said that it isn't the good time to escape I meant it but I won't take away your freedom to make decisions at your own will, so if you want to escape you are free to do so, I meant that for everyone but the ones who are going to stay and get through this like a team, then we have to stick together as the situation demands it ". There were few hums in agreement, some held their silence contemplating whether to agree to Freen or not.
