After the incident between Saint and Freen, Rebecca made sure to keep her distance from her childhood friend. Even though Freen insisted that she should forgive him and spend time with her friend as he will leave for his Kingdom soon, Rebecca was obstinate about it.
Saint noticed that Rebecca was ignoring him from that day, he tried to talk to her on numerous occasions as he missed his friend as well and the main reason for his surprise visit was to spend time with her. The last time he was here, Rebecca was mad at him for leaving early so he wanted to make up for it.
But somehow, he upset his friend even more with what happened with her guard.
Rebecca took this opportunity and spent every single second with Freen, the guard didn't mind having extra attention from her lover and after her revelation, Rebecca became extra clingy.
Freen tried to maintain distance as Saint was still in the palace and he could come to look for Rebecca any second, she doesn't want to be caught in a compromised position with her lover by someone who already despises her.
" Shouldn't you forgive him by now ? ". Freen asked as Rebecca and her sat on a chair in the library, with Rebecca in her lap reading her book. " Freen, we have discussed this before, I am not going to change my decision about this ". Rebecca sighed as she replied, her focus didn't shift from the book she read.
In fact, Rebecca liked reading books with Freen but the older one insisted on talking about her friend these days. " Teerak... You are being harsh on him, I am already healed, the infection was not that harmful ". Freen tried once again, Rebecca sighed and closed her book which she was reading.
" So ? I know that infection didn't seriously harm your health but it could have been stopped ? Saint didn't need to do that ". Rebecca pouted, she turned her head to look at her lover who was still thinking.
" Teerak, I know you are doing this out of anger but you will regret it when he leaves without settling this issue. You two have been friends for a really long time, you both are practically siblings, you should at least give him a chance to explain ". Freen kissed Rebecca's shoulder, Rebecca pouted.
" I am not doing this out of anger, Freen, I am doing this out of care, I care about you and if I forgive him that easily he might do something to you again ". Rebecca shook her head, Freen took a deep breath.
" You don't have to overthink about this issue, I promise It won't happen, just give him a chance, okay ? For me ? ". Freen tried, Rebecca groaned, Freen could convince her very easily and she succeeded this time.
" Alright ". Rebecca mumbled quietly, Freen sweetly smiled and kissed her lover's neck. " I thought you wanted to wait till he leaves ? ". Rebecca teased her lover who was pampering her neck with kisses.
" He can't stop me from kissing you whenever I want, I just wanted us to be careful and right now we are alone in this library ". Freen whispered close to Rebecca's skin, Rebecca relaxed, she enjoyed the sensation Freen's warm lips on her skin gave her.
Freen used her tongue as she kissed her lover's skin, Rebecca closed her eyes and moaned lightly, Freen that soon Rebecca would demand more and this is not the right place to be doing it. With one last kiss, Freen pulled away, Rebecca whined, she turned and pulled Freen's face for a kiss on her lips.
Freen smiled into the kiss but didn't let it intensify. " I thought you wanted this... ". Rebecca pouted as she pulled away from the kiss, Freen chuckled.
" I wanted to kiss you, Becca, not ravish you in the library, we still have to be careful when we take further steps in our relationship ". Freen explained, Rebecca sighed and nodded. " Sometimes I think you are being too careful with this ". Rebecca mumbled as she rolled her eyes at her lover, due to this Freen left her high and dry every time.
