Correction: It was Aunt Lorraine at the court house for Day One, not aunt Cherokee. I mixed them up.

"So he probably will win and walk free?" Kasmira fussed as her, Sa'hora and Bianca stood together in the lobby of the courthouse. Sa'hora stayed quiet as her best friend glared at Bianca.
"Well the odds right now is that the jury could go either way in my opinion. I don't feel confident honestly and this could've been avoided if someone told the truth from the beginning," she snapped directing her attention to Sa'hora.
"She did her best! She is going through a lot right now," Kasmira said speaking for her bestfriend.
"I am tired of hearing that excuse! That is no reason for her not to tell me the truth. Now he just might walk!" Bianca snapped.
She was on a winning streak this quarter also and she was upset because she knew she would probably lose this case. Michael did a damn good job she'll give him that but she knew it would only be one of many cases where the two would be opposing each other.
Bianca looked at Sa'hora who hadn't said a word yet. "You know what I find crazy, it's like everyone around you is more mad at him than you are! It's like you put in zero effort to win this case, it's like you don't want him to go to jail forreal because had I know the information I know now, I would've lit fire under his ass and this trial would've been over today!" Bianca yelled.
"That is not true! I told everything as it was and that I could remember! It's hard going up there with everyone judging you and looking at you as a fool!" Sa'hora said raising her voice.
"Well sweetie, you made yourself look like more of a bigger fool from that sorry ass testimony you did up there," Bianca said rolling her neck. Before Sa'hora could step to her, Kasmira pushed her back and got in front of her.
"Oh hell no, you have lost your mind talking to her like that! You supposed to be defending her and you're sitting here belittling her just like that white fuck in there did on the stand!" Kas yelled.
"It's hard to defend someone who doesn't want to win. No one brought your story Sa'hora. If you're lucky, he may be found guilty of at least one charge. I am over this, we will meet back here tomorrow and hopefully this is the end and I see none of you ever again," Bianca snapped before turning and strutting away.
"Ou that bitch better be glad we in the house of the law, I would drag her ass up and down these halls!" Kasmira shouted making sure she heard her. Bianca ignored her and continued strutting out of the courthouse.
"I guess it's too late to ask for a new lawyer," Sa'hora said lowly. Kasmira sighed and rubbed her friend on the back.
"Don't let what she said get to you, she probably is frustrated because his lawyer did a good job. Regardless of the outcome, you will be okay. If he walks, we will do everything we can to make sure he never comes within 200 feet of you,"
