Christopher watched as Sa'hora walked out of the Planned Parenthood establishment. He walked halfway to meet her and pulled her into a hug. His arms snaked around her back as she laid her head on his chest. He slowly rocked her side to side as he embraced her.

"It's okay ma, I still love you with all my heart," he whispered lowly.

She said nothing but nodded her head. He pulled away and leaned down pressing his lips to hers softly. She wore a blank expression on her face. Her eyes were empty and dark. Her body was physically here but it was clear she was mentally afloat.

"Let's go, I don't want to be here any longer," she muttered.

He grabbed her hand and walked towards the running car. Kenzo was sitting in the backseat with a soggy Cheeto Puff in his hand watching Spongebob on the screen his dad had installed on the headrest.

Chris opened the passenger door and Sa'hora got in the car. He shut her door and jogged around the car getting in the driver's seat.

"Can you eat?" he asked as he drove.

"I'm not hungry,"

"Baby, you haven't ate in a few days so you nee-"

"I said I'm not hungry Christopher, damn," she snapped. She leaned her head against the window staring at the buildings they passed.

He tightly gripped the steering wheel and nodded his head.

"You don't have to give me your ass to kiss, you act like this my fault,"

"It is, all of it is!" she shouted.

Pain shot through his heart as she said the words he was all too familiar hearing.

"Mama," Kenzo whined. Her shouting was interrupting his show.

"Hush Kenzo," she said to him before laying her head back on the window.

Chris felt his skin heat up and it felt as if smoke was releasing from his ears as his heard felt it was being stabbed repeatedly.

They had came to the agreement two weeks ago that she would go through with the abortion. They didn't want to take the risk of it not being his and put Sa'hora through more trauma than she has already been through.

However, every since her appointment she had been giving Christopher hell and he was tired of it. Every-time something went wrong, she blamed him and it hurt and was tiring. He loved her but there was only so much he could take.

Pulling up at Sa'hora's apartment, she quickly hopped out of the car barely allowing him to properly park the car. Chris watched as she stormed up the stairs to her unit.
