Sa'hora sat down outside of the water fountain in a courtyard a few blocks away from the courthouse. There were a few people lingering but it was mainly quiet outside. The jury was still coming to a decision. She stared as the birds flew passed her and sat in deep thought.

She was nervous, she knew that Christopher was going to walk free. She just knew he was and she didn't know what she was going to do.

"Excuse me," a man said making her look up. She was greeted with a very handsome face.

He was tall, maybe six foot and had shoulder length black locs that hung over his face.  Tattoos covered his arms and peaked out at his neck line indicating he had more under his shirt. He was a medium brown skin tone with full lips and a sharp jaw line. He had facial hair that was neatly trimmed and he smelled very nice.

He had on a pair of Nike shorts, a black hoodie and headphones over his ears like he was on a run.

"Yes?" she said nervously. She hadn't interacted with another man since Christopher.

"Are you okay?" he asked her looking concerned.

"I'm fine why wouldn't I be?"

"I don't know, you have tears running down your face and looked miserable over here," he said. She put her hand to her face and it was in fact wet. She hadn't realized she had been crying again.

"Oh, I- it's a lot but i'm okay. Thank you for asking," she said giving him a small smile.

"It's no problem, I just hate to see a beautiful woman sad," he said and gave her a heartfelt smile.

She couldn't help but smile at his compliment. "It's hard not to be right now but thank you,"

He wanted to ask her more but he didn't want to come off weird. She looked a bit uncomfortable with his presence too. "It's no problem," I hope things get better for you," he said genuinely, giving her one last smile before walking away.

She watched him run away and felt relief. He was polite and nice but it would take her a while before she could trust a man again. Every man in her life has done nothing but disappoint her. She was over them and dealing with a man was the last thing on her mind.

Her phone rang and Bianca's number came across the screen. She rolled her eyes not wanting to talk to her but had no choice since she was her lawyer.

"Hello?"

"Where are you, the verdict is in and they are about to start in thirty mintues," she said with a slight attitude.

"I am right down the street and will be there soon," Sa'hora said matching her energy. She hung up not waiting for her response and began walking back in the direction of the courthouse.
