Chapter 5 The DA

I was walking the hall way when I saw Neville

“Hey Neville”

“Oh Hey Em.” He said kind of Gloomy

“You okay?”

“Yeah I will be.” Just then Crab and Goyle bumped into him on purpose

“Watch where you’re going Longbottom” Goyle said

“Piss off” I yelled

Neville walked past a wall and then he stopped right in front of it. I looked and it started to change into big double doors. We ran back to the common room and showed Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and the twins. “You found the room of Requirement, Neville, this place only shows when a person finds real need of it.” Hermione said.

“It like Hogwarts wants us to fight back.” Harry said

“Then lets fight back” I said putting an arm around Harry

The first meeting would be held next week. I went up to my room and wrote Aiden

Dear Aiden

I’m sorry if it has taken me along time to write back, a lot have has happened, this horrible women has taken over Hogwarts. So Harry, Hermione, Ron and I have come up with a plan to that will help us practice real spells, because we are not anything now. I miss you so much babe I wish I could see you. Christmas is coming up soon and I have to say I got you something awesome. Babe I have to go know I have to wait for the old toad to go to sleep before I can send this. Miss and Love you so much

I sent the letter then went to sleep. The allowing week was the day of the first meeting of the DA. We were in two lines and waiting are turn to use the charm Expelliarmus. Neville went first and sent his want flying backwards, almost taking little Nigel’s eye out. When I did the charm it took me two times to get it right.

 “Okay next is stunning, stunning a like a wizards bread and butter really.” Harry said

Nigel pointed his wand at Harry and said “Stupefy” and sending Harry flying backwards. Ron and Hermione were next. Ron walked up to Hermione “Don’t worry I’ll go easy on you.” He said. The two of them stood across from each other, Hermione put her game face on and within seconds Ron was on his back. Ron walked over to the guys and said “I let her that. “ It was my turn finally my turn

“Okay Thomas lets go.” I said to him Dean pointed his want at me and threw the spell I dodged it and Yelled “Stupefy” and he went flying backwards. After a long night of practice we all went to are dorms and fell asleep. The next morning Mr. Filch was putting up another “Educational Decree” stating all students will be question. I rolled my eyes and went to sit down at the table; I took out a spell book and started to read. I was pulled out of my book when a first year came up to me.

“Are you Emily?”

“Yes, you are?”

“I’m Lucy, professor Umbridge want to see you.” She said in a sweet voice

“Oh great, Okay thank you Lucy” I put my stuff in my bag and walked to her room, I knocked on the door.

“Come In” she said with that irritating voice. I walked in and there was pink everywhere. “Sit” was all she said. I put my bag down and sat on the edge of my seat.

“Would you like a cup of tea?”

“No thank you.” I said flatly

“I must insist”

“I don’t mean to be rude but I just don’t want any thank you.” I said getting irritated

“Okay so Miss O’Brian the day you went to Hogsmead…what did you do?”

“I went to the three Broom sticks, had a butterbeer with my friends and walked around Zonco’s” I lied

“Okay” she said and wrote some thing down. “When you came back to the castle what did you do?”

“I wrote my boyfriend and I’m going to mail it tonight because I was too tired to do it that night and then I got busy with my studies to mail it the other nights.” I said lying again, I was not telling this woman anything.

“Is you boyfriend a muggle?” she asked taking a sip of tea. “What the hell?” I thought to my self

“No he is a pureblood wizard?”

“Does he go to Durmstraing?” I shot my head up and raised my eye brow at her.

“No…He is staying with his grandmother, because she has been sick lately.” I lied again

“Well I’m sorry to hear that.” She said

“Yeah sure you are” I said under my breath

“What is your relationship with Harry James Potter?”

“He is one on my friends and for the record I will always stand by him.” I said crossing my arms

“Last question dear…Are you part of any secret clubs her at Hogwarts?”

My heart was racing “No Mama I don’t have time for clubs.”

“That will be all dear, will you please send Miss Pansy Parkinson to my office please.”

I got up, got my stuff and walked out of the class room. I was walking to hall when I saw Pansy. “Hey Parkinson, Toad face wants to see you in her office.” I yelled and walked up to the dorm.

I saw Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, the twins and Dean sitting around. “Guys if you ever get called down to Toad face’s office don’t drink the tea she is trying to find out about the DA”

“How do you know that?” asked Ron

“She asked what I did in Hogsmead and asked me about Harry.”

“What did you tell her?” Harry asked

“I said I had a butterbeer with you guys and went to Zonco’s .”

“What are we going to do?” asked Ron

“We are going to keep doing what we are doing, she knows we are up to something but she don’t know what yet.” Hermione said

“Don’t drink the tea she offers you.” I said

The next day Hermione sent a message to everyone saying we should lay low and have the meeting next week just to be safe so we had a day off. 

The week past and it was time to go to the DA meeting. I walked with Fred and George to the meeting; I looked around the corner and saw Malfoy and his two thick headed idiots with him. “Give me something that explodes that I can throw at them. Fred handed me a stink bomb, I threw it and a green fog rose and we ran for it and got to the meeting. “Harry we have to be careful Malfoy is outside.”

“Today we will be practicing with the spell Levicorpus” Harry said. I looked around and saw George‘s back to me, and evil smirk came across my lips, I pointed my wand at George and said “Levicorpus” within seconds he was dangling upside down.

“I’m so getting you back O’Brian” He said

“Hey I leaned from the best” I said with a giggle.
