Chapter 24

"It's been about 4 months since we ran away, we've found a horcrux and intend to destroy it, but it's been hard, we take turns wearing it but I've seen it have a huge effect of Ron the most.

"We were all in the tent; Hermione was cutting Harry's hair. Ron was sleeping and I was keeping an eye out pacing back and forth. My mind was on Aiden and what he was doing now, I was pulled out of my thought when the lights went out and heard yelling. Ron and Harry were fighting. "You don't know how it feels to lose your family; your parents are dead you have no family"

"Ron!" I yelled

"Shut up Emily" he snapped back

"No... we are Harry's family"

"You know what go just go and leave us alone; I didn't ask you to sign up for this"

"Ron takes the horcrux off, its making you says these things" Hermione said with a shaky voice.

Ron took off the necklace and took a back pack and left the tent I grabbed my bag wand. "I'll go after him and I'll come back when I can." I hugged Harry and ran after Ron. I grabbed Ron's hand before he could leave and we apparated to an unknown town.

"Ron lets go cool off and go back"

"No Emily, they don't need me, they don't need you , hell I don't need you" he said

"Yes we do need you, Hermione needs you"

He didn't say anything he just looked down at his feet. "We need you Ron"

"No they don't Emily just leave me alone, I'll go back when I'm ready."

"Ron they need us come on."

"I didn't ask you to come with me, I can take care of myself" he said and apparated

"Shit" I muttered to myself, I tried to apparate after him but it was no use, I lost him. I walked into a pub and sat in a booth in a corner. I put my head down for what felt like a second but I was being shaken awake my a bust boy.

"Miss its almost closing time, can I get you anything?"

"No thank you, I was just leaving." I stood up and put my hoodie and back pack. "Um where am I exactly?"

"You don't know where you are?"

"No"

"You're in down town London"

"Thank you" I said and went to leave the pub.

"Miss wait" the boy called after me. "Were are you going if you don't mind me asking"
"I don't know," I smiled "I'll figure it out, thank you though" and I left the pub. It started to rain, and hot tears ran down my face. All I wanted was to be with Aiden and for my friends to be safe. I kneeled down and cried.

I apparated some where warm and dry. When I looked up I saw I was in front of Aiden's summer house.

Aiden's POV

I've been looking for Emily for four month but I have yet to find her. I decided to check down town London. It was raining, so I ran into a pub that was still open.

I walked in and whipped the rain off my hair. "Sorry we're closed" said the bar tender

"It's okay, but have you seen this girl?" I said giving him the picture.

"Yeah she was just here like 10 minutes ago, she was really upset"

"Did she say where she was going?"

"No sorry"

"Thank you"

I walked out of the pub. "Come on Emily, where are you?" I apparated home and there on my porch was Emily sobbing.

Emily's POV

I felt a hand on my shoulder, when I looked up Aiden was looking down at me. I got up and wrapped my arm around him, I held him so tight. He opened the door and we went up stair. I sat down on his bed watching him pacing. The silence walk killing me until; he finally spoke up.

"How could you right me that letter!" he shouted

"I-"

"Do you know how much that killed me"

"Yes"
"Emily It broke my heart!"

"It broke mine when I wrote it" I said quietly He walked over to me and cupped my face in his warm hands. "Aiden... I love you, and I'm sorry"

"Go take a shower, I'll make you something to eat and we will talk about this later" he said and left the room.

I walked into the bathroom and took a badly need shower the warm water felt amazing. I sat down pulling my legs to my chest and let the water run. I could have fall asleep in the tub. Just I jumped when a knock came and Aiden walked into the bathroom. He turned off the water and wrapped a towel around me. Without speaking a word he handed me pants and shirt and left.

I walked down to the kitchen and saw he ordered pizza. I practically ran over to it, took three pieces stacked them up and started eating.

"I'm sorry this is so not lady like, but I'm starving" I laughed

He laughed but remembered he was upset and his lips formed a thin line.

"Aiden, I love you; that's why I wrote the note, you have your family to worry about, and I would just get in the way, you and your family have done so much for me already, and with my parents being death eaters, they could hurt your family and it would be because of me."

"Emily, I love you, you are part of my family." He rushed over to me and grabbed me by the arms not so tight that he was hurting me but that he had my attention. "I love you, I would do anything for you Emily you need to get that through your head, the fact that you are not alone and that I love you."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his lips and hugged him. He picked me up and carried me upstairs.
