Caesar Flickerman strutted out onto the stage with his hands in the air as everyone cheered him on, he took a bow. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for being here tonight on the eve of the 75th Hunger Games!" He spoke loudly through the microphone, laughing as everyone continued to cheer.

"We have never seen anything like this. And we will never see anything like it again. Because tonight, on this stage, twenty four of Panem's brightest stars will vie for the ultimate crown. Tonight will be their final opportunity to express their thoughts. Our final opportunity to express our love. And heartbreakingly... to say goodbye to all but one," he said while holding up a finger, everyone aww'd in the crowd.

"What a night. Let's hear it,"

The crowd cheered again as he riled them all up, "It's so exciting!" He said before laughing again.

Caesar first called Gloss and Cashmere on first, the crowd cheered as they walked onto the stage. "You two made the Games a family affair. You became everyone's brother and sister. I don't know how we're going to let you go," Caesar said before pointing the microphone over to Gloss, "We're not going by choice," he said before smiling as everyone aww'd for them, "You are our family. And I don't see how anyone can love us better," he said as the crowd cheered again.

"So sweet. So sweet. Are you alright, dear?" Caesar asked Cashmere as she sobbed, "I'm sorry," "That's all right," "I just can't stop crying," she told Caesar.

The next person that was up on stage was Beetee.

"Beetee. You have contributed so much to Panem over the years. I don't know who we will miss more. You or your brain," Caesar said, everyone laughed but Beetee didn't even crack a smile on his face, "If the Quarter Quell were written into law by men, certainly, it can be unwritten," he told Caesar, "Yes. Interesting concept," he responded to Beetee.

Then it was Finnick and Naomi's turn, "Ah, Finnick and Naomi. A very loved pair of siblings, isn't that right everyone?" Caesar said as everyone cheered for them, Naomi hated it all. The big fancy dresses they had to wear to try and make the Capitol like them more. Acting nice to please them when really she would rather be killing them than the other Victors.

"Finnick. I understand that you have a message for somebody out there, a special somebody," Caesar chuckled, "Can we hear it?"

Finnick smiled, "My love, you have my heart for all eternity. And if... if I die in that arena... my last thought will be of your lips," He said into the camera, Naomi had to stop herself from gagging. She loved Finnick and Annie together, but those words that came out of his mouth just then made her cringe so hard.

"Now Naomi, do you have your heart set on anyone?" Caesar moved onto her next, "Nope," "Nobody is special enough for my little sister. Ain't that right?" Finnick said giving her a little squeeze, she rolled her eyes sarcastically at him before laughing, "Do you both trust each other?" Caesar asks them, "I trust her with my life," Finnick responded immediately, gaining a few aww's once more, as he held onto her hand the two of them raised it above their heads, together the Odair Siblings would be stronger than ever.

"Anyways, I wish you both luck, The Odair Siblings everyone!" Caesar said signalling for them to join everyone else up on the podium.

Johanna came out on stage next, "We have seen a lot of tears here tonight. But I see no tears in Johanna's eyes. Johanna, you are angry, tell me why," Caesar says turning the microphone to her, she scoffs, "Well, yes, I'm angry. You know, i'm getting totally screwed over here. The deal was that if I win the Hunger Games, I get to live the rest of my life in peace," "Mm-hmm," "But now you want to kill me again," Johanna chuckles, "Well, you know what? Fuck that! And fuck everybody that had anything to do with it!" She screamed at everyone.

"All right, then. One woman's opinion," Caesar said as she stormed off, "Who's next?"

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome, you know her as the Girl on Fire. The victor of last year's Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen!"

The audience went wild as Katniss walked out onto the stage wearing a big and fluffy white wedding dress. "Katniss Everdeen, you look fabulous. Doesn't she?" He said as he held her hand, the crowd cheered and sat down again.

"My, my! Whoo, whoo, whoo! Now, Katniss, this is... a very big and very emotional night for all of us. Wouldn't you say?" "Oh, don't go crying on me now, Caesar," she told him, "I can't make any promises. You know me," she laughs, "You know I wouldn't believe you, even if you did,"

He cackled as everyone cheered, "I love her! The Girl on Fire is so cheeky. Ha, ha, ha! But, Katniss, on a more serious note. I think we're all here a little disappointed, more than a little disappointed, that a certain wedding did not take place. Aren't we folks?" He said to the crowd, "Alas. But am I correct in assuming that this is the gown that you would have worn on that day, yes or no?"

"Yes, President Snow thought everyone would want to see it," she told Caesar, "Well, President Snow, as usual, was right. Was he not, folks? I love it! I love it! Don't you love it, folks? It's incredible. It's so gorgeous. Will you do us the honour? Please? Please, please,"

Katniss steps into the middle of the floor as Caesar backs away, she looks at Cinna in the crowd who gives her a small nod before she began to twirl around in her dress, it began to go up in flames.

"Oh, my god! Oh, my!"

Once she stopped spinning she was now wearing a dark dress, she lifted her arms to reveal two wings. The crowd went mental once more.

"It's a bird. It's like a... uh, it's got feathers. And it's—it's like a bird. It's like a... um, um..," "Like a mockingjay," She tells Caesar.

"Your stylist certainly has outdone himself this time, hasn't he? What theatricality! Cinna! Take a bow," Caesar says as Cinna raises his hand before bowing down for everyone and blowing a kiss to the camera.

Katniss joined the rest of the Victors next, and last was Peeta to come out on stage.

"But, Peeta... the wedding, the marriage, never to be," Caesar said before turning the microphone over to the blonde boy, "Well, actually, we got married. In secret," he says making the crowd gasp, "No way," Finnick whispered to Naomi, not believing it for a second, Naomi looked down at Katniss who was trying not to look confused, but she could tell that she was.

"A secret wedding? All right. Do tell,"

"We—We want our love to be eternal," "Of course," "You know, Katniss and I, we've been—been luckier than most. And I wouldn't have any regrets at all... if it weren't... if..,"

"If it weren't for what? What? What?"

"If it weren't for the baby,"

The crowd started yelling, shocked at this news. Caesar tried to get everything under control again, "All right. This is news! Let's find out more," he said as everyone continued to yell, "Calm down. This is news to all of us. All right," Caesar whispered something to Peeta before he ran to join everyone else, "Let's, um... Everybody, calm down,"

"Stop the games!"

"It's a great night. A great night,"

Peeta took Katniss in a hug, looking up as he felt someone's eyes on him, the Odair girl watched him carefully as he smirked, knowing he might have managed to get the games to stop for this year. It definitely took everyone as a surprise, even though the rest of the districts wasn't believing it for a moment, they still went along with it. They all linked hands together, "This is news to all of us. All right, all right. All right. We're going to find out what we do about this,"

All the victors held their hands up together, Caesar watched as his show went from a great start to the Capitol looking like the shitty people they were, Peeta's plan was working, for now...
