"Head straight north. There's gonna be thousands of refugees. Just get into that stream and don't look up," Cressida tells Katniss, "We got one shot," Katniss turns to Gale, "Let's make it count,"
"Good luck, Katniss," Cressida says as she hugs her, "Thank you," Katniss tells her before letting go and looking over to Pollux.
"Pollux," she said before he signed something to her, she gave him a hug and looked over to Tigris next.
"Tigris, thank you for everything you've done,"
"Katniss, let me come with you, okay? I can be a good distraction. They know my face," Peeta says to her, "No, I'm not losing you again," "You'll be safer with us,"
"What if Peacekeepers are searching the houses? And if he's captured...," Gale said to Katniss thinking about the possibilities, "Then give me a nightlock pill, okay? I'm not goin' back,"
Katniss looks at Gale as he takes his one out of his pocket, he walks over to Peeta and places it in his hand, "Naomi, make sure he doesn't take it unless it's necessary," Gale tells her, she nods.
Katniss walks over to Peeta and uncuffs him, "Stay alive," she tells him before hugging him. "If I see you again, it's gonna be a different world," he said, they could only hope this plan worked.
Katniss gave Naomi a hug, "If I don't make it, look after him for me," "I will," she tells her friend, Katniss lets go and nods.
"Ready, Katniss?" "Let's go,"
They both pull their hoods up over their heads and walk towards the door, she grabs her bow and tucks it under her cloak before the both of them walk outside.

"By order of President Snow, all residents must proceed to the Presidential Estate. Please, continue to move forward in a calm and orderly fashion. Additional food, medicine and clothing will be provided upon arrival," a voice speaks over and over again as they join the crowd of people, Katniss and Gale keep their heads down and keep walking, a child noticed Katniss, lifting her head up off her mothers shoulder to look at her better, making Katniss feel slightly more paranoid.
Once they got closer, she spotted the Peacekeepers doing checks, she grabbed Gales arm before the both of them turned back around again. More peacekeepers were coming towards them, they turned back around, realising the only way out was going through with it. Gale grabbed his gun in his pocket, keeping his hand on it at the ready.
One of the peacekeepers came up behind Katniss, placing a hand on her shoulder before a bomb got shot near to them, everyone ducked down as the Peacekeepers began to shoot. "It's the rebels!" "The rebels are attacking!" "Rebels!" "It's the rebels!"
