EAST'S POV

It has been a few days simula nung mangyari ang sa mansion nila Hazel at ngayon nga ay naglalakad ako papuntang playground kung nasaan si Hazel.

Pagbukas ko ng pinto nakita ko agad siya nakatingin sa akin ng malamig.

"Please," I heard her whisper from under breath. "Please....just some meth or cocaine, I'll even settle for a cigarette but I need something." She begs. So she's a druggie.

Suot niya pa rin ang pants niya noon pero instead na sweatshirt ay nakabra lang siya.

"Where do you keep your hostages?" I asked and put her head on the table.

Nakaramdam ako ng weird sa may tyan ko na ngayon ko lang naramdaman sa lahat ng babaeng nakakasama ko at parang gusto kong icomfort si Hazel.

Fucking no! I don't pity her.....but she's shaking.

I reach my hand out and take one of her hands handcuffed to the pole in the center of the table. Tumingin siya sa akin at bakas sa mukha niya ang takot pero agad din napalitan ng malambot na expression at hinawakan niya ang kamay ko.

"I need it." She whispered. I remember what my Mama Pryn taught me kaya napabuntong hininga ako.

I unlock one of Hazel's hands and immediately lock the handcuffs back to the pole so she can't make a move. I pull her arm towards me and I tap soft patterns across the inside of it.

Unti unti ng kumakalma si Hazel kaya patuloy lang ako sa ginagawa ko hanggang sa tuluyan na siyang kumalma.

She looks up at me and I just continue and avoid eye contact.

"How's the wound?" She asked. I finally made eye contact with her.

"Better, hindi naman masyadong malalim ang pagsaksak mo." I answered

"I'm sorry about stabbing you or whatever," Hazel said while catching my fingers dance across her wrist. I scoff and continue to focus on my finger-tapping trick.

We were both mesmerized for a while just sitting in silence.

Habang tinuturuan ko si Hazel ng breathing exercise biglang pumasok sila Astrid kasama sila Selina.

Walang nakakaalam ng totoong pangalan ni Astrid kung hindi kami lang. Naglakad ito papunta sa sofa at umupo tsaka pinagcross ang arms.

Isang taon na kasi ng tumira ulit si Astrid sa Switzerland at nandito lang siya para tignan ang mga business na meron siya dito sa Pilipinas at para rin puntahan si Solane dahil napapadalas ang pagwawala niya at si Astrid lang ang nakakapagpakalma sa kanya.

"I see.....you got her to stop babbling." She notices, magaling talaga sa pag observe itong si Astrid.

"Yes, Queen," I said

"You didn't give her any drugs, did you?" She looked at me emotionless.

I open my mouth to speak but Hazel seems to be in a talkative mood.

"I wish you fucking bitch would, but NO!" She answered.

Astrid raised her left eyebrow. "She talks now, huh." I feel nervous when Astrid's one eyes turn into red.

"Good work, Hand." Huling sabi ni Astrid bago lumabas ng room kasama sila Selina kaya napangiti ako.

I meet Hazel's cold eyes and my smile drops.

"Saan mo tinatago ang mga hostage?" She sighed and leaned back in her chair.

"Sa lumang zoo." She told me.

I feel all giddy inside but it's probably because I completed the mission that Doña Zekiah gave me.

Tumayo na ako at naglakad papuntang pinto pero hindi pa ako nakakalabas ng magsalita siya.

"My dad gonna pissed at me." She sounds like a vulnerable. "I shouldn't have told you! I hate you! Bigla kang pumunta sa party ko tapos ngayon nandito ako! Arghh, damn it!"

"I guess we don't break as easily as you, bitch." Sabi ko pero imbes na magalit siya ay tumawa lang siya.

Dahil sa inis tuluyan na akong lumabas ng kwarto but my chest tightens when I close the door.

I freeze...

Why is my anxiety happening now? I can't leave, masasaktan siya kapag iniwan ko siyang mag isa dito. Or she will leave at hindi ko malalaman kung nasaan siya.

"The meds have probably made you a little drowsy. Let's go back to your bed." I heard Blue's voice and that's it!

It's the stupid medication they put me on that's making my anxiety skyrocket, not that bitch Hazel.

Blue takes my hand and leads me to my room. The farther away I get the more my chest tightens.

Pagkapasok namin sa kwarto ko agad na binuksan ni Blue ang tv.

"I'll leave now, East. Kailangan ko pang gawin mga trabaho ko." Sabi niya kaya tumango ako at nag focus nalang sa tv.

Just relax and calm.
