~Nineteen~

We've been waiting in the room for hours now. Bonnie and Chase were in here with us as well as Bennett so I wasn't scared for myself. I was worried of what was going to happen when we leave.

Ethan could escape and get to me again. Then again I did stab him in the leg so he couldn't really run all that well right now.

I must have been really lost in thought because when I realized I was still sitting here, Taylor was shaking me.

"Bailey!"

"Sorry. I zoned out." I apologized.

"No shit." Chase laughed.

"Let's go guys." Bonnie helped me up and all seven of us walked out of the room.

Bennett's gun was up and ready to be fired without hesitation if needed. Bonnie and Chase were behind us while Max was on the side wobbling along.

He must be in a lot of pain right now but he did a god job of hiding it. I've heard getting shot in the foot is the most painful place to get shot that isn't fatal.

We made it to the front of the house and got out. The place was abandoned. The only car that was left was a crappy mini van that a middle aged single mother who lives in Utah would own.

"Hop in guys." Chase said sarcastically.

"I'll hot wire it." Lexi offered.

"Since when can you hot wire?" Max asked impressed.

"My dad taught me. Him and I both love cars." Lexi smiled and skipped to the front seat where she began her work.

"I'm driving." Bonnie spoke up.

Taylor, Max, and Lexi climbed into the third row while Bennett and I got in the second row. Bonnie started driving with Chase as her passenger princess.

"Bon you know where to go right?" Bennett asked.

"Yep." She confirmed.

"Can you guys play some music? This is really depressing." Lexi spoke up.

"Let me handle this." Chase connected his phone to the car and began playing music.

"I love this song!" Max smiled and started rapping along to the tune.

The whole time we drove I was worried about what my parents were thinking right now. I hadn't been home since Friday night and it's now Sunday night.

We had school tomorrow but none of us were going to show up. I didn't even know where we were anymore.

"Guys where are we going?" I asked.

"My secret base. We're completely safe there don't worry." Bennett comforted me.

"Ok but where is it?"

"Vegas." Chase answered.

"Vegas!?" Lexi sat up forward.

"Yea. We're already halfway there. We'll be there in like two or three hours." Bonnie said.

"No I can't go to Vegas." Lexi shook her head.

"Why not?" Bennett asked suddenly curious.

"Well Joey and I may or may not have gone there last summer and snuck into a casino. It was a masquerade party so we wore masks and got tons of free alcohol and money from gambling. They caught us and we aren't allowed back in the city. That and my ex lives here." Lexi chucked at the end.

"You guys did that without us?" Max asked for me.

"Well you two were in New York. Sorry." Lexi gave a guilty smile.
