"So, about that date.."
Ann's face lit up, feeling as if all the air that's left her lungs was now flowing back freely. She can now properly breathe after almost losing her hope that she and Michelle would be okay.
Of course, there are things she still needs to do when she goes back home, but that could wait. What's more important is the woman beside her. She wants to make sure that their last day in Mexico will be unforgettable.
She'll suffer the consequences later, that's inevitable. Somehow, it felt weird. The good kind of weird. That instead of being frightened, it does the opposite. She feels calmer. Maybe it has something to do with Michelle being there for her.
"Mhm.. what about it?"
"Well, if I remember correctly, someone asked me hypothetically, and I answered yes to them."
"Oh, it's still on, baby. But first, I have some ground rules."
Perfectly shaped eyebrows shoot up.
"And those would be?"
Anntonia paused, a playful smirk painted her lips.
"Don't kiss me."
Michelle's eyes shot back open, pulling an inch back from their embrace.
"Excuse me?" She replied, appalled by what her girlfriend had just said.
With a stoic face, "Uh-huh. You heard me, don't kiss me."
Ann wasn't making any sense. Did she hear her correctly? Don't kiss her?
"Why can't I kiss you?"
"Because you can't. I don't want you to."
Trust her girlfriend for having random ideas. Brown irises had an innocent idea shining through them, that the short-haired girl caught on.
"And why is that?" She asked, her fingers playing with a strand of long tresses. Eyes staring at her beautiful face.
"Because I don't kiss people on the first date." She husked, wetting her lips with her tongue, and Michelle's eyes couldn't help but follow the movement.
"This is ridiculous. Baby, we've done way more than just kissing. So nope, now give me a kiss."
Michelle leaned in to give her a kiss, but her girlfriend turned her head to the side. Her lips landed on Ann's cheek, making her groan.
"Shhh, baby! Stop! Come on, play along with this." She whined.
Her girlfriend melted at Ann's cuteness, and she warmly smiled. Oh, how she wished to capture those kissable red lips right there and then, because she needed them, and she needed her.
Okay. Two can play this game. Michelle thought.
She let out a smooth laugh before pushing herself away from Ann, cocking her head to the side as if studying her reaction to their loss of contact.
"Alright, then I won't kiss you." She muttered with a challenging smirk.
"Great, don't kiss me."
"Yeah, I won't."
"Mhm. I don't want you to." Ann bantered.
"I don't want to."
Anne paused and bit her lower lip, trying her hardest, but failed to stop herself from giggling. Her thumb moved to Michelle's face, tracing her lips.
"You want to kiss me, don't you?" She teased.
"More than I've ever wanted in my entire life!" Exclaimed Michelle, once again stepping forward, her lips parted to capture Ann's lips but the woman dodged the kiss.
