The room was so quiet as the two who just got caught stood by the door, their mouths agape, while Max and Rhian remained seated on the couch.

They were just about to leave, and Rhian sent a message to her friend, letting her know everything was set. The duo was just waiting for her response so they could go home, but she got nothing from Michelle.

And so they stayed longer for Max so she could say goodbye to Ann for her flight the next day. What was supposed to be a surprise for their best friend's girlfriend turned out they would be the ones who'll get surprised.

Max cleared her throat to ease some awkwardness after they almost got caught.

"Hi Ann! And hey, you." She smiled brightly at them, although Michelle could tell that her friend was embarrassed at having to witness them like that.

While Rhian had an eyebrow raised at Michelle as if reminding her about their conversation last time, about the two of them doing the deed while she's home.

Michelle gave them an awkward wave, slapping her forehead inwardly for being so dumb, forgetting that her two helpers might still be home. She felt Ann squeezed her hand.

"You two had fun on your brief drive around?"

Ann smiled at her, nodding her head. "Yeah, it was great. Sorry I didn't know you guys are coming, a-and that you see that. I'm so sorry."

Rhian and Max shook their heads, completely understanding because she honestly didn't know that they would be there, though they weren't expecting as much from Michelle.

"Don't apologise, it's okay. We were just about to leave, but this one," she nodded her chin towards Max, "wanted to say hi to you before you fly back to Thailand."

"Oh, thank you for dropping by. Thanks for welcoming me and I'm so glad that I've got the chance to meet the two of you."

The girls stood up to give Anntonia a hug, wishing her a safe trip back to Thailand. When Rhian pulled away, her gaze turned to her best friend, who's watching them with a soft smile on her lips.

"Deedee, a word?"

The smile disappeared on her face in an instant. Uh-oh.

"What was so important that you needed to tell me away from my girlfriend?" Michelle whined at her best friend.

Rhian rolled her eyes while she scoffed. "And what? Reveal the date you had planned for her? That Max and I had spent all our energy setting up for you?"

Michelle smiled, "thank you, and I love you! So, everything goes as planned?"

The other girl nodded her head, "wanna go upstairs and check if we accurately followed your sex set up?"

"Honey!" Michelle gasped.

"Oh, please. Like I don't know why you asked for me to be miraculously out of our house tonight. Max and I weren't born yesterday, you dork," Rhian laughed at her flustered friend. God, it was too easy.

"Okay, so we got everything you wanted. All that is missing are the two of you. Please, let her enjoy the date and don't jump her right away, you, Casanova." She said firmly, pinching Michelle on her side, until a smirk formed on her lips.

"Ow! Okay, fine! Jeez!"

The short-haired turned her gaze towards her girlfriend who's busy chatting with Max. She was smiling and laughing at whatever her best friend was telling her. She's so damn beautiful that her heart nearly exploded.
