Her eyes slowly fluttered open, head tucked under her girlfriend's chin. Michelle was still sleeping soundly while she held her tight. Finally able to get a good night's sleep because she's with her.

How her imagination came to life, falling asleep and waking up to this gorgeous woman that chose her, amongst many other things. If not for the distance, Anntonia could see herself moving in with Michelle.

Ann would be the happiest woman, she mused, in one of her daydreaming. To come home to the love of her life after a long day at work.

She'd love to come home and cook dinner for her girlfriend every night, and in the mornings, whoever wakes up first gets to start the coffee machine running.

Sometimes she daydreams of them travelling to different countries, exploring and just making memories together. Where she can hold her hand in public and kiss her wherever and just because she can.

They're making progress, because tonight she'll meet Michelle's family properly. It makes her nervous and excited, hoping that soon she'd get to do the same.

Michelle stirred in her sleep, the arm on her waist automatically pulling her closer, leaving no space between them and she yelped, while her girlfriend just sighed in contentment.

"So clingy, even while asleep," Anntonia mumbled to her chest.

"I heard that."

It's also one of Ann's favourites, hearing her sleepy and just-woke-up voice. They've called each other every day, not running out of things to talk about each time. Especially at night time, even if they just turned quiet, but feeling her presence even if it's only through a phone, Ann felt calm and a lot more safe.

Even forcing her girlfriend to play the guitar while they both sang their hearts out. Or those times when she would watch her play Call of Duty and Michelle would always promise to teach her how to play. Every time Ann refused, telling her she'd rather just watch her play.

Or when just a simple conversation would turn into something else, and they're losing themselves to each other over the phone.

"But it's true. See how tight you're holding me? I'm not going anywhere, baby."

Eyes still closed, basking in the feel of Anntonia beside her in her bed. Michelle chuckled, "damn right, you're not. Can we just stay here the whole day?"

Anntonia looped her arms around her tightly.

"I would love to, but we can't. It's Christmas eve, you're supposed to be spending it with the ones you love."

Inhaling the scent of her hair, "but you're the only one I love."

Her girlfriend hummed, burrowing her nose into Michelle's chest. "I better be the only one, but you know what I mean, baby. I'm excited to meet your other friends and, most especially, your family."

Michelle opened her eyes and tilted her head down, planting a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Oh, they're gonna love you. I just know it, especially mum."

She's peppering butterfly kisses on her entire face now, making her giggle.

"Why so?"

She paused, looking down at her girlfriend's beautiful bare face.

"Because she told me to find someone beautiful, and as luck would have it, I found you."

Her girlfriend narrowed her eyes on her. "No, she did not." She said, although her face was already turning pink.

Michelle snorted. "Yes, it's true, baby. See, I was trying to be so sappy and you just ignored it. This is also the second time you're not believing what I was saying. Should I be worried?"
