At the lunch table, everyone leaves but me and cherry.

She eats next to me,

I chomp at my food happily,

"Are you really going to eat all of that?"

I look up.

"Excuse me-?"

She looks at me, stuttering,

"I'm just saying, that's a lot of food ya know?"

I silence myself before I say something rude,

"Whatever."

I finish my food, thinking about it.

I put my dishes away, and I see mike.

She is crying, breathing heavy.

Wait what?

I walk over, rub her back,

Make sure she's ok.

"Get ms c."

Fairy tells me.

I get back, both of me and the teacher walk over.

Everything blurs.

Fairy hugs you,

Sarah sits with you,

Roxie gets your phone,

But what did I do?

Nothing.

I didn't know what to do.

I awkwardly offer a fidget,

You shake your head.

The rest of lunch, silent and awkward.

All attention is quiet.

My friends worlds falling apart,

And I'm sitting here.

But why?
