"Brooke Logan will you marry me"
Those words raced through her mind the entire rehearsal dinner. As she looked across the table to Taylor laughing and place light touches against Hollice skin. She couldn't help but ache at missing  Taylor when she moved away to Paris  all those months ago. Feeling like a part of her heart was manually ripped out of her chest. She's never felt that with Ridge but here she was marrying him again for what felt like the millionth time.
She spent the rest of the evening trying to push her feelings down, to go on with tomorrow in stride. But after many drinks when she was left home alone, in her empty mansion. She decided to do something she'll probably regret in the morning. She went to see Taylor.
Knock knock knock
"What the....." Taylor stopped in her tracks rubbing the sleepiness from her eyes
"I love you Taylor. I love you so much that my heart aches when you aren't near. I have never felt this way before not even with ridge" Brooke slightly slurring he words indicating to Taylor she was drunk.Taylor took her into her arms, steadying her weight as they walked towards the guest room. She laid Brooke down before tucking her in and placing a light feathery kiss on her forehead.
"Get some sleep. We'll talk in the morning"
She shut the lights off and slowly closed the door. Her heart has been nearly beating out of her chest since Brooke spoke those sweet words to her. she's loved Brooke for so long but didn't want to get to excited. She knew once she wasn't drunk, she'd probably take it back and break her heart into more pieces.
The next morning after a long night of restless sleep. She made her way towards the guest room with advil and water for the other woman's hangover. But not before seeing the room empty and a note lying on the pillow.
Taylor,
I meant what I said last night, I do love you! But I totally understand that you don't feel the same. I'm sorry if this information ruins our friendship. But I needed to tell you before I got married.
I hope to see you there. But I understand if you don't come.
Your friend,
Brooke

Later that day, Taylor sat in the back of the church not wanting to disturb anyone. She watched as Brooke beautifully walked downed the aisle. Not being able to take their eyes off each other since they locked. Apparently they weren't the only one to see the attraction. As the priest asked
"Do you ridge forrester take Brooke Logan to be your lawfully wedded wife"
He hesitated before answering "I don't"
An audible gasp overtook the attendants and the bride herself
"What..."
" You don't love me Brooke. Not like how you love Taylor. She's the one you should be marrying"  Ridge walked to the back where Taylor was sitting.
"It's ok, I give you too my blessing"
Taylor hugged ridge tightly feeling bad she was taking his bride away. They switched places as Taylor began walking towards the alter.
"I love you Brooke, so much that I couldn't stand being in the same city as you. Without selfishly having you all to myself. I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side"
Brooke passionately kissed her before saying " and I want to spend the rest of my life with you"
Their declarations got interrupted by the priest
"Is anyone getting married today or not"
They looked into each others eyes coming to a mutual decision
"We are" they spoke at the same time surprising the guest
"Ok"
They held each others hands not having any rings to give each other.
"Do you Taylor Hayes take Brooke Logan to be your lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health. For as long  as you both shall live"
" I do"
"Do you Brooke Logan  take Taylor Hayes to be your lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health. For as long  as you both shall live"
"I do"
"By the state of California, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may kiss the bride"
Without a second thought Brooke captured Taylor's lips in passion. Only pulling a way once the priest coughed lightly behind them. They walked hand and hand out of the church ready to spend their life's together.
