Mack sat in her hospital room,trying not to freak herself out further. When Levi walked into the room, making his way to her side.
"Hey" he spoke lightly as he stood next to her
"Hey, can you just tell me one more time, is this surgery really necessary"
"Ok one more time. One of your coronary arteries has me concerned. I need to take a look at it and it needs to happen now"
"Doctor fowles has performed this surgery hundreds of times" the nurse lightly spoke while checking her vitals
"Okay Mackenzie, take it easy,listen to me. You need to stop over exerting yourself " her machine began to beep louder indicating an increase in heart rate
"I'm about to go under for an operation because of my heart and you're telling me to take it easy." She scoffed at him as the nurse made her way out of the room.
"Mackenzie calm down please" he started to raise voice like he was an authoritarive figure and she was a child.
"I'm not going to calm down" raising her voice even louder while the machines beeping kept increasing. Her body began to shake as she went unconscious
"Mackenzie! We need a crash cart stat" he yelled working to stop her seizing. He was frightened for her even tho he was still pissed at her stubborn streak.
